I love salsa and make my own all the time. I have made regular salsa and a fruit salsa both are really good. A long time ago I used to buy this raspberry salsa that was so good. I wish I could still find it. It was great with everything but especially good with original flavor sunchips. What different kinds of salsa have you tried?

I normally make my own as a standard tomato based salsa. However, I got a good recipe for a corn salsa on Saturday and I plan to make some this coming weekend, after I arrive in Canada.

I eat salsa on everything! Pace was my favorite - the hotter the better. However, in the past year, it seems they have changed the recipe or stopped making hte one I liked as it just doesn't have the flavor it used to have. Can't pin point the problem, but just doesn't do it for me anymore! I have tried other brands, but with not much more than a liquid tomatoe flavor - can't find anything any better than the Pace. I did find some Pace at Dollar Sture and it was really good so I went back and stocked up.

I like making my own with fresh ingredients. It is so yummy plus I can control the amount of heat. If you like it hot I should send you some of my habeneros my plant went crazy and I have them coming out my ears lol.

Sounds great! I would make it myself, but I just don't get into making salsa. I make tons of other things homemade, but salsa, I just buy it.

I've tried a number of salsas, and they're all really good! Pineapple salsa allows a slightly hotter pepper, because of its sweetness. One of my neighbors puts chunks of watermelon in it with the pineapple. I love mango salsa, and a little Coleman's dry mustard makes the flavor zing! Have you tried using sweet Vidalia onions? It's a whole different flavor. A friend's cucumber vines produced far too many at the same time, They, too, made a great salse. Just experiment! I've never gone wrong, even with what should be a bad combination.

Oh yes I love using vidalias in my salsas especially the fruit salsas. Also adding red onions changes the taste too.

I have only had 2 types of salsa and thats the ragular kind and mango salsa. I really liked the mango salsa I had it for the first time at school in culinary arts class.

I have tried lots of salsas. I am a huge fan of mexican food, and I try a new Mexican restaurant any time I get a chance. The salsa has been good at most of them. I have tried most of the brands in stores too. One interesting thing I have found is that sometimes the bargain brands are better than the big brand names like PACE or the Tostitos brand. Of course, the homemade stuff that my friend and I make are better than all of them, because we use garden fresh vegetables during the summer. He grows them in his garden. We make the salsa and have recently started to experiment with canning some of it in mason jars to eat later in the year.

I grew up 19 miles from the Mexican border. I went to college 50 miles from the Mexican border. I know what real Mexican food is supposed to taste like, and most "Mexican" restaurants in the U.S. aren't even close. That said, We have a Mexican restaurant here owned and operated by Mexicans, that really sucks! We also have an Indian restaurant (and I love Indian food) that sucks worse. I have lived in Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, and Simaloa. I know what the natives eat. There are quite a few restaurants I've been to that don't come close.

I am a big baby when it comes to anything at all spicy! So, I have never been a salsa fan. However...I found a fantastic salsa at Trader Joe's and I can't get enough of it. It is a roasted garlic salsa and it is fantastic! Not too spicy for those that are weak like me, but just enough flavor to satisfy. Love love love it!
