How to get the best sleep?

What should be done to get the best sleep. I usually hear music for sometime (say a hour or more) which silences the pressures of the mind and helps me have a very good sleep. Some day i have had pressure in my mind and even if i hear songs for some time the pressure does not go off. Then i have realised that the sleep is not a sound sleep. If the pressure is releaved, a six or seven hour sleep will be enough to give you enough energy to face the next day. Otherwise even a eight hours sleep becomes insufficient. Your views..... Your experiences.....

I'm not sure what to do anymore to get the best sleep to where you feel well rested. I never get enough sleep. I work seven days a week and there is always something to occupy my free time. I get about 4-6 hours sleep per day and sometimes less than that. It is my motivation to make money and help my family that keeps me going. I wish I knew how to get restful sleep but I have the same problem. My daughter got me up two hours early today. It is always something.

make sure you do not eat right before bedtime. if you do have something to eat make sure its 2-3 hours prior to bedtime and that meal should be something light. turn off lights and anything that will disturb your sleep. sleep somewhere you feel comfortable. i like to sleep at a steady time everyday and listen to the radio as i fall asleep ( some argue that listening to the radio can disrupt you sleep but i haven't had a problem with it. my radio shuts off automatically after an hour ). hope that helped. =]
