Favorite dish to share at potlucks!

My family weekend is here and tomorrow I'll head to the lake. Tonight I got everything ready. I have everything cut and diced and browned for my taco salad and I made these yummy Rice Krispie bars that you make like a jelly roll...they just melt in your mouth! What is your favorite dish to bring to a family get together or a potluck....I always have to bring my taco salad but added the Rice Krispie bars as they are a new recipe!

Oooh, rice krispie bars sound very yummy. My mom makes delicious chocolate-dipped rice krispie treats that make my mouth water just thinking about them.
I like to bring Ramen noodle salad to potlucks or hummus with veggies to dip or chips with homemade salsa. Sometimes I'll bring brownies or cookies.

Your rice krispies bars sound good. I would liketo have the recipe for them.
My favorite dish that I would take to a family get together would have to be my meatballs.

Taco dip is always a good thing to bring, and of course you have to bring the tortilla chips too if you bring that. Brownie are always good to bring too. Depending on whose having the potluck and who will be attending sometimes I will bring a dish and a dessert to share. A friend of ours makes an amazing taco salad that we all love, now he is required to bring it to every party. We always have a pot luck on New Years eve, and I always bring my crock pot and meat balls. Meatballs are nice and warm on cold winters night.

We had my taco salad last night...I forgot to take some when I dished up my plate and thought when I finished I would go get some....and it was already gone! I didn't even get any of my salad....but it's like deviled eggs....if you bring them they are always the first to be eaten!

Mmmmm Taco salad sounds great. I like making a dish called "Cheesy Potatoes" for family get-togethers. It's a family favorite and a comfort food to me. Pasta salads are always good for potluck dinners but usually everyone wants to bring those so it's not very creative for me. For desserts I usually make something simple like brownies or a cake.
