The number of folds on a baby's thigh indicates whether your next child is a boy or a girl. If your baby has 2 folds, it's going to be a boy (or was it a girl). And your baby has only 1 fold, it's vice versa. Have you heard of this before? Do you know of any such myths to indicate whether you will have a boy or girl in your next pregnancy?

Hello, a similar myth exists here in our locality. It goes this way, if the mother has a darkened neck with several lines in it, then the baby will be a boy, if the mother has no visible lines in her neck, then the baby will be a girl. Sometimes it proves true but sometimes it is not, so I guess , it is just coincidence when it is proven true. But this is my first time reading about a baby's thigh (lol) Btw, I have created another category with Myths and Legends as the title. I'm happy you also are interested in myths and legends. See you there. All the best.

It's all 50-50 chance of getting it right. The thing about myths is that if it's correct, people will remember it. If it's wrong, everybody forgets about it. just remembered - 2 folds in inner thing for a girl, and one fold is for a boy. To me, any folds means bouncy baby LOL!

I know it's very funny. But I tell you there are so many of such myths in my culture that I'm planning to write articles on some of them. The interesting ones seems to be those pertaining to babies and pregnancies. You have such a perfect family. I would also not give birth anymore if I were you.
