The offseason started a month ago. Elton Brand signing with the 76ers. Baron Davis to his hometown Clippers. Maggette to the San Francisco franchise with some young, energetic players that wants to run. For you, what is the best offseason signing/trade ever made in the NBA history?

shaq going from orlando to la is definitely the best move in the whole nba history. not only did the big Aristotle gives LA a three-peat but also gives back the glory of the yellow and violet franchise. even the garnett trade can't match that because as we all know he just have a ring compare to shaq. a trade or signing with shaq on it would definitely a blockbuster one. maybe the suns will rejoice this season lets all find out.

There's a lot of trade that have happen that have been real good for team in the history of the NBA so its kind of hard to pick one. One trade that was crazy was The Seattle Sonics trading Scottie Pippen away for Olden Polynice as we all know you know how that turned out to be. Pippen turned into one of the 50 greatest player of all time and teamed up with Michael Jordan to win 6 Championships.

This season I like Rockets offseason moves. Houston Rockets were able to acquire the coveted Ron Artest at 8 million for one year. He fills their biggest need; which was a 3rd scorer who was athletic and could score/slash. They accomplished this without giving up too much and without losing anything on the defensive end. That is hard to do. They give up Jackson and his 6 million and Donte Green. Although Ron Artest is a risk; it is a risk for only one year. If it doesn't work out, not a huge loss. If it does, it is a huge gain. Taking into consideration Artest ability to stay out of trouble in Sacramento; I'd say the risk was far worth the potential reward. They did this while retaining their core in: TMAC, Yao, and Battier. In the history I think the Celtics moves will be one of the greatest. acquiring Garnett and Allen that made them a champion is probably the greatest move you'll ever find. getting those two superstar is very hard to achieve.

Well I would put the celtics trading for kevin garnett has to be in the top 3 best trades of all time. Theres no way they would of won the nba championship if he wasnt on the team and with them being the worst or 2nd to worse in the league last year that well was the trade of the century so far.
