When my husband took the contract job that ended abruptly, he left a company that wanted him to work there but they were not paying enough. When the contract ended I told him to call 2 people, one of them was the company he left. Of course, he didn't. With the whole military thing, we want to have a back up plan so I have been applying him to jobs that come up - just in case. I open his email this morning and lo and behold, the guy he was working wants to hire him back. Now wouldn't that have been useful weeks ago before we are two weeks from being evicted?

It would have been useful. But men think they know best. I guess he did such a good job in the company he left that they wanted him back and I would bet they would pay a better salary now. It would have been better if he had applied back then weeks ago. And I thought I was the only one who used to have to learn things the hard way. I do hope he takes the job. The money would come in handy. I heard that military pay is not that high.

LOL I hate when that happens. In that kind of situation he normally does listen because I typically have a better memory about where things are and what direction is the best way to get places.

Luckily, my boyfriend tends to regard my better judgement because I will not stop interrogating him but it works. He does have this one friend that seems to always have these brilliant business ideas that dont end up results or diddly and I have to continually remind him that if this friend wants to be a legitimate business partner he is going to have to start dishing out more than just ideas but putting out some real results, so I will give him a run down of history to remind him what he's working with instead of his nature to just take peoples word for anything. But he helps other times where I have too much a critical eye and I realize I can just take it easy

If you get the answer to this, please shoot me an email! lol I have the same problem with mine. Not the work thing, he has had the same job for over 20 yrs, but the problem is when people don't show up, he comes home! We are suppose to pay our rent by the 20th, I won't have it until the 22nd! That is $25 extra all because he was coming home and well, our bills are paid and the rent will be 2 days late, but still, all could have been paid and no worries at all for me, but he loves to give me migraines on top of trying to figure out how we can pay this, that and the other! Men are like babies and want their women to take care of EVERYTHING! You got to love them though. ~Icy~

oh sometimes i too get exasperated.maybe they want to show off their superiority over females by defying them or maybe it is their big ego.
