Anyone watching the beach volleyball matches at the Olympics?

The teams are made up of only two players on each side. I have really enjoyed watching both the men and women's matches. Today, the USA team of May and Walsh beat the Cuban team in two sets. They had already beat the Japanese earlier. The men's team of Rogers and Dalhausser are great, too. They lost their first game to Lativa.But they bounced back and won against the Swiss team in both sets. I think they are saying that the USA Men's team is favored to win gold. I hope both the women and men win. They are so good!

Oh Yeah! I saw both of those games. I love Rogers and Dalhausser, Dalhausser was great at spiking that ball straight down, that would be impossible to defend! The women are great too, they rocked the Cubans. I hope I do see both teams defeat everyone and get the gold. Did you just see the swimming? Phelps did it again and got the gold, and another American got the bronze in that event! We also got another gold medalist in a swim event after the women were (they got a gold too!) in, and along with that gold came silver! Oh it was just marvelous tonight for swimming, I am very proud of them!

And look at that, Soni just one us another silver in women's butterfly swimming event also, we are on a roll, and are now beating China's medal count by a few!

Oh, yes, I watched the swimming, too. Phelps is great. I thought it was something that his Mother raised those 3 children by herself since he was 7. And she entered him in the swimming because of his ADD and other things. And look where he's gone! I hope he breaks the records for most medals won. He is tied right now. But he also beat one of his own world records today.
I just watched the USA Men's Gymnastics team take the bronze medal. They just missed getting the silver medal. But they are so happy just to get a medal!

Hi,Barb. I have to say, President Bush is really great. He is something. He got his way to encourage the USA teams to work hard for gold medal.
We can see many many pictures of Bush and athletes from USA. Many pictures of May and Walsh and President Bush.

That is the most pathetic game man ever invented-anything that makes you work below your potential takes away the beauty of the game-the sand makes playing the game really boring! Beach volleyball, beach football, they bore me stiff!

I watched Rogers and Dalhausser of the men's team of beach volley ball. It was really exciting to watch Dalhausser spiking the ball. I watched the play the swiss team. I also watched some of the sinkrenized swimming with both women and men. They were all so graceful.

I have only watched snippets of the Olympics, mostly I am at work. I agree that beach volleyball is a really fun sport to watch. I guess we are doing rather well.
