After writing some books, the Warner Bro (W.B.) company made movies after Nicholas Sparks's "The notebook"(2004); "A walk to remember" (2002); "Message in a bottle" (1999) which have already been released to the public and another two are ready or in pre-production:

i have seen the notebook. Havent read it. Have read recently message in a bottle and a walk to remember. Do the movies do justice to the books. I always find that the book is much better.

I have seen the 3 movies and read A walk to remember. The movie is really emotional and although some details are not present it is really worth seeing. The only thing about the movie is that you won't understand why it's called a walk to remember (it's not obvious like in the book.

I don't think the movies did justice to the books. I have read A Walk to Remember, Message in a Bottle, and The Notebook, and compared to their movie counterparts, I enjoyed the books more. Message in a Bottle is my favorite book among all the books I've read. It was very, very emotional and I cried for 2 weeks! And that is after finishing the book, excluding the crying I did while reading it. lol
But I did love the movies, just not as much as I love the books.

I love these books/movies. They are so great! I look forward to seeing these new ones. Would love to read them too. I hope that I can find the time to do just that in the next few months. What an author!
