I have two bosses. Which one do you like to work with.

I have two bosses and i am in two projects.
One is very calm, cunning and works behind the scenes. I even do not know what is happening around me and if at all he had any chance of initiating these things. He does not come around often asking for progress but one day he suddenly come and stand by my side asking for progress.
The other one is the other extreme. He is very aggressive and shouts at me if i had done something off his liking. according to him if IT has to be like THIS and IT has to be like that. no arguments. he stands around me all the time asking what happened and what is the progress. i don't know how far he is cunning but can ditch people as if it was done by mistake.
How do you like my life? Which one you prefer, if at all?

I definitely would not "like" either, but I guess I would rather the one who is upfront with that is going on, which is the second person. Only if I had to pick one of those two though.

I try to fit inbetween the two spectrums with my employees. In my line of work it is important that thingsare done a certian way to ensure there are no mistakes. I try and liven things up with special days, trying to be more like friends with my employees than some sort of dictator. It is good to be laid back and fun loving but there are also time to be serious and athoritative.
