Is your boyfriend, partner or husband obsessed about their weight? Are they forever going on about how fat they are, or are they always trying to lose weight or always going down to the gym to get a 'perfect' body Do they compare themselves to other men when it comes to their weight? Do they worry constantly about how fat they are, or obsessed about their stomach's? Are they continually weighing themselves or touching parts of their body which they do not like and are wishing they were slim? Are there men out there who just obsess totally about their weight and are very self-conscious about it? Does your man get depressed about his weight and how fat he is and does it rule his life and does food start to frighten him?

I am actually frightened of the scales, because I bodybuild and muscle weighs more than fat they don't give me a true reading I am putting on weight and I hope it's not fat, so I can't bear to see scales anywhere!

Wolfie you should be able to see that it is not fat by how your clothes fit. Can you send some of that dedication to me. I do not mind the muscle weight, but mine is covered by a lovely coat of fat.

Bit like my father, my father is obese but he doesn't care, it's his life I admit but when it affects his wife then that's a different story but he is happy to continue his unhealthy lifestyle, I just don't want to turn out like him so I guess that makes me more obsessed about my own weight.

My hubby looks good. He has put on a couple of extra pounds. I am pregnant, I attribute his slight weight gain to sympathy. But my 5 year old daughter made notice. So now he is being a bit more careful about what he eats.

No, not really. I think he did try hard to be fit to some degree when we first met. What you are describing is more typical of the women I know. Hubby has a new, boring job, where he is a security guy at a food plant. He tells me he is doing push ups and other exercises when he gets too bored, because he will otherwise get fat. He says if they review their security tapes they will wonder what he is doing.

Nope... My fiance is not obsessed with his weight (I think I am. Lol.) When I met him, he was actually waaaaaay to thin. Harhar. Like I weighed more than he did. When we got together, he started filling out and I love him the way he is right now. The weight made him look better. Sometimes he eats a little too much but he can actually shed it without having to go through several diet fads or exercises.

My husband before used to worry a lot about his weight. But I think his worry stems from being being unhealthy which is brought about by being overweight. He is concerned though about his stomach and if its sagging. I remember him mentioning it several times before and he would then plan to diet and exercise.

Nope! Not at All! He is fit even though he eats a lot. He's not conscious even if he gains a little weight, maybe his metabolism is just fast and that the extra fats are burnt easily
