The PSP supports MP4 videos only(extension .mp4). Just for information, 3rd party developers have developed an AVI player to play AVI videos but its still in beta versions and support some codecs and has a maximum resolution support. The best bet is still MP4 videos. For me, I prefer Total Video Converter. Download the trial version and look for the registration code. =)

Now where would I find that trial version? I don't know too much about electronics so I need something that will be simple for me to figure out.

I have added lots of vids into my PSP. I have downloaded a software which you can find at the site of sonyPSP. It sorta converts videos to the format of which the PSP can read. But it is only a trial version so sadly I can only convert 5min vids.
