Why Do You Consider Yourself Blessed?

ever since both of my parents died, i, being the eldest happened to be a potential bread winner in the family. my siblings also work but i think i shouldn't have given them big responsibilities yet since they are just newbies building their own career. and for this fact, i want them to save something for themselves so that they would feel rewarded for the efforts they exert from work. though with the pressures of some kind of tight budgeting at home without parents to assist me, i still feel blessed that even currently dealing with, i have my siblings graduated in college and now are eligible nurse practitioner that in a year or two will become as stable as i consider my self now. another blessing i have is to be given a husband who supports me dealing with the familial issues and responsibilities i was left with. i am still thankful that being a parent now to my siblings poses a great preparation in the future when i become a real parent. those are the reason that i still consider my self blessed. i wanna know how about you. do you consider yourself blessed? why?

Wendhie, I'm sorry you've lost both parents. I'm 52 and still have both of mine, that itself is a blessing to me. Every morning I look outside at a yard filled with oak trees and squirrels, rabbits and nature. Living in the country is a blessing to me. The privacy I have and the fresh air makes my life seem fresh every day. One boy is older than me, then I have 4 sisters and a brother of 35. He's single and lives about 700 foot from me. Sure, we all have problems but I like being the big sister that some of them come to when they need to talk. Maybe I consider my family as a blessing, even though I lost my only child when she was just 15 years old.

Every single day with my family is a blessing; it is the greatest gift that God has given to me. Also, I'm living a comfortable life right now and I think I'd consider myself one of the luckiest person in the world. I have all the things I need and people I love.

I definitely consider myself blessed. I have a lovely husband of 29 years who has supported me and provided for us, and my four children are grown up and enjoying fulfilling lives. I'm very, very grateful for everything I have.

i would definitely consider myself as blessed. but i will not going to say that i am contented in life. there are so many things that i really want to achieved in my life. not until i get those things i will not really consider myself as blessed as others. but i am far lucky than many people who are having difficulty in life. anyways, i feel many times to that i have am very deprived of happiness in life. and so that makes me feel down many times thinking about it. i am not really talking about financial blessings. i am talking personal happiness in life.

I feel blessed to still have my mother alive and with me. My father passed away when I was 7 years old from a massive heart attack, 38 years ago. My mother raised my sister and I both as a single parent, she didn't even start dating until I was 18. She helped me so much when I got married and had my kids, when my ex and I divorced she let me move in with her and helped me get my life back together.

I'm very blessed. I have a wonderful husband who supports me and loves me unconditionaly, a son who never ceases to amaze me each and everyday. Hearing him say "I love you" 50 times a day, just can't get any better than that. I feel blessed not only by them but by my husband's family as well. They've taken me as one of their own. Before them I didn't know a family could be that loving, open and generous.
