Same here.I prefer wearing light colored clothes especially pink and white. I'm not really into dark colored clothes. I'm not really sure why. There are times though, when I do feel like wearing dark clothes.

Hello riyasam You look nice in your photo with the light blue, which doesn't really look too light, but colourful. Maybe because your hair is dark it works for you. I probably wear darker colours, but i haven't considered if what my complexion is and what colouring I should be wearing. I often have circles under my eyes so I think some colours tend to show this up more than others. Sometimes I think red seems to suit me, and people have commented on this when I wear something red. Not that I really like red clothes too much, but for some reason they seem to flatter me more. My niece is quite fair and she also loves pink and blue and always manages to get away with it. You could always wear some dark items and accessories to contrast or vice versa if you think this would make you look better!

I dont think that dark color dress suits for fair people , for fair people all color suits , try wearing a lighter shade you will look good , even if your wearing darker dres you look pretty good .For darker people , i dont know really what suits them , their color will be more shown when they are in lighter shade that is they can be spotted easily but then they look like they are more dark in such dresses , this i mean for people who look even more darker than your sister .

hi riyasam.in summer and most of the time, i prefer light-coloured clothes too. i would feel more comfortable.i would wear dark coloured clothes in special occasions like dinner parties. happy myLotting.

I am very fair skinned as well. My favorite colors are sage green and burgandy. I don't wear a lot of pink, mainly cause of growing up a tomboy so it feels odd to me. I do like soft hues of yellow and peach but I don't like the bold or neon tones on me. Working around cars I do wear a lot of dark colors. I don't wear dark blues though. I feel like I look weird in it.

Black is my favourite color.i pick a black costume very frequently.more than half of my clothes is black.even my bike color is black.i just love this color.apart from black i like all kinds of dark shades.i dont prefer light colors because i am also fair.light colors will wont suit the people with fair skin ,your sis is right.

well, i am a person who plays safe with colors. i use black for and match it with other colors like pink, yellow, blue, and when i use white, i do the same thing. but i love using neutral colors often like, gray white and black.. i am not very fair, and i am not dark skinned as well, i am tan, and i can actually wear any color because of my skin color.. and i am quite happy with that too!

In this regard,I appreciate you. Infact,person who is fair,suits every colour whether dark or light.But I prefer light colour clothes,during summer.I like wearing black tops with jeans too.

I think that hair color has more to do with what colors you can wear. I have fair skin dark eyes and red hair. I can't wear purple or red, whether light or dark. Those colors look terrible on me. The best colors for me I have found to be browns, golds and greens. Black is one of my favorites yet it isn't the best color. Because of my hair my fair skin isn't a factor.

I just love the strong colors that is for sure, I do not use anything like baby pink. My favorite what suits me well is black, just love it! Also reds.

i prefer pastel colors.but i wear dark colors also sometimes..

It really doesn't matter to me about the colors just as long and the clothes are comfortable, I don't like tight fitting clothes, are close that you have to constantly pull up all the time.

you can try the suggestion that your sister is giving you but if you really dont feel comfortable with it then stick with the ones that you like. it's you who's gonna wear it, not her
