it was really weird. the other night, i was dreaming that i was buying a packed food worth, i'm not sure if its 38.95 or 39.85, and i discovered that i didn't have any money. so i went to a room where my mother was to ask for money and while i was walking towards there, i hear her shouting "HELP!". i run towards the room. she was shouting it too loud that i instantly woke up from my dream. i woke up and i discovered that my mother was really shouting "HELP!" while she was having a nightmare. so i immediately called her and she instantly woke up too. she said she was dreaming. it was quarter to two in the morning. i didn't ask her what was her dream but i know it must be really bad. i went back to sleep and when the sun came out, i forgot all about it. do you think our dreams were connected? i just thought that it was a good thing that i was dreaming something like that. but i think i would still be awaken immediately even if i wasn't having that dream because she was shouting so loud. it was very weird. especially the fact that i have dreamed again of numbers. ^__^;;

yea it is possible. It happens to my husband and I too, and not only dreams. Sometimes we actually experience the same things or thinking about them. Quite few times even from before we got married, that if he got stung by a bee, I would be stung by something else or if I banged my elbow to something hard, he would end up with bruises caused by something else. Sometimes this happened on the same day, or sometimes within a week, and it happened regardless he is at home with me or not. It's strange but we never try to find out the hows or whys, sometiems we actually take it as a warning because if it happenes to him then it can happen to me.

wow. that's really weird littlemel. interestingly weird. and what a coincidence. i'm currently watching a Japanese tv series where the main role and her mother experience things at the same time. if the daughter has a cold, the mother would have a cold too. if the daughter is scratching her face, the mother would be scratching hers too. if the daughter is in danger, the mother would feel it. its really interesting.

That's indeed weird.. Maybe the 2 dreams are linked to each other, and do u know that dreams can be continued from where u last left from?? hehe ^_^ Good sweet dreams are always good, but if i ever have a nightmare, i wun wanna wake up because i wanna know the ending of my nightmare.. If u realise it, most of our dreams dun have a ending and we will wake up.. hehe

yeah. i have experienced waking up from a dream and after sleeping again, the dream would continue. but there would be a major change in the settings of the dream. i wouldn't like to continue a nightmare. its far too scary to see the ending because you're the one involved in it.

i agree. it is the process that is scary. someone chasing after you with a knife on their hand, some ghost trying to reach you with their awful hand, etc. the act itself is scary.

LOL =D THe worse part of a nightmare isn't the ending, but rather it's the process.. Because the process can be different while there will be 2 endings.. 1 of it is, we survive in the nightmare.. 2 is we die.. lol =D But the process is scary because we only think that we are gonna die for sure and thus it makes nightmare so scary.. hehe =D And so by continuing to the ending, all disperse all fears all nightmares.. lol

My dreams mostly relate to what I do during my daytime but at times I get to see lots of absurd dreams which do not have any relevance to my activities. I do not think you could have continued to sleep with your Mom shouting load nearby you. It takes time to get up from bed and respond to a situation. It is quite natural. But I think it is height of coincidence that you were about to call your mother in your dream and it eventually turned out to be the reality! Do you dream about numbers frequently?

I do not think there is anything special about the dream you had with numbers. For me, although I forget a lot of them but I can recall a lot as well, particularly those associated closely with my daily happenings - my objectives and frustrations!

hi nilzerous! yeah. i guess it must have been a coincidence. it must be my mother's loud call for help that awaken me so suddenly. i don't often dream about numbers. and when i do, its not usually clear and i would usually forget it in the morning. dreaming about it so clearly is a rare occurrence for me. i wonder what could be its meaning..

Dreams are really exciting. I myself experienced real scary nightmares before. I also shouted and screamed loudly that woke up my roommates that time in our college dorm. Dreams are so interesting. I even visited several websites that interpret dream meaning. Try looking at them too.

Maybe if you asked your mother what she dremt that made her feel so scared, then you could associate her dream with yours. Since you dremt of numbers, i would ask you to go play those numbers. you may win the jackpot. It happened to me once and I played a mere pittance, not believing in the dream, and I won. But my winnings were connected with how much I played, so it was very little. Go ahead and try. Play a little and see, who knows you may win big.

You could always try it out. Next time you see a number, do play immediately. I dont know for sure, but no harm in trying it out. All the best friend. Hope you win huge.

So have you tried buying the numbers for Lottery? I wish you luck if you are. Do you watch CLAMP anime/manga? CLAMP loves talking about dreamseers and how their dreams can connect with one another. I always visualize myself to be a dreamseers. Fortunately or unfortunately, my dreams so far do not make sense. I have some friends who insist that their dreams are foretelling. It creeps me to listen their account. It seems like their dreams always come true.

i have read somewhere that dreams are even manifestations of what we secretly want that is often stored only in our subconscious. i don't know if its true but i often dream of flying and that's one of my wildest dreams. ^__^;;

hi poohgal! no. i didn't play it in the lottery. i don't play the lottery and i forgot to give the numbers to my officemate who always play it. ^__^;; yep. i watch clamp's anime. and come to think of it, they really make a big deal out of dreams. sometimes i also think that dreams might be a glimpse of the future. sometimes i think its a way of remembering the past. its kind of interesting to think it that way. but i have always believed that dreams are somewhat a representation of our subconscious mind.

It may of been connected. You never know, things are strange some times. I have nightmares alot, so I know how bad it must of been for your mom. I usually wake up screaming, crying and kicking, and sweat pouring all over the bed and then I can't get back to sleep, but I'm also an insomniac, so I don't require much sleep.

maybe it will be connected & they will ask something about those numbers or it will remind you those numbers.just ask you mom in her dream where she went & you also connect those dreams maybe you can find the reason.

sometimes.. even i have dreams like this.. where in the dreams i will be doing something like getting trapped in somewhere , i can hear my mom's voice calling me.. whhen i wake up i can hear her calling me for giving me bed coffee... and it happens... you know what i have heard that all of them dream daily.. and there are 3 stages in that normal sleep,deep sleep ,sound sleep... somthing like that.. and we only dream during our sound sleep and at that time our eyeballs seem to be moving this side and that side for some people and our muscle tones will be made loose, when your made to wake up at that time only you remember the dreams which you have dreamt if not then you will not remember it at all...

You may have heard your Mum while you were asleep and so had a dream of your own to make you act. I often dream I need to go to the bathroom and I keep dreaming that I still need to go till I wake up. And go!

Maybe, or during your dream you will about to wake up, there is a stages of sleeping however i don't have a little knowledge. Maybe what happen is you are near to wake up and it connects that your mother is shouting for help. Or it is really connected or it is about to happen. Try to bet on lotto, four digit number 3995 or 3895 haha. Try lang...

Hi Secretbear.. Really interesting happening.. Have you asked your Mom about her dream? What she dreamt off? But its a rare coincidence to have to persons of a same family having a nightmare like this at the same time.. Awww.. it is really weird..and i cannot conclude with any definite reasons to say that your dreams are interconnected. No worries, God bless you. Take care friend.

hi saiven. no, i haven't asked her about it. i opted not to since when she wake up, it seemed not a big deal to her. and i wasn't having the same nightmare. my dream was different. her nightmare was different.

Why don't you bet those numbers for lotto? heheh I think you dreaming of your mother is somehow connected because you could probably have heard her without even noticing. I'm not sure if you understood, but let me put it this way... My sisters and I had peeing accidents until gradeschool. When asked by our mother why we couldn't just wake up and pee in the bathroom, our reason is we've dreamt we were going to the bathroom and so we urinated, but was shocked to wake up still lying in the bed. hehehe. Okay, I'm not sure if that made more sense. hehe. It's like when you're sleeping you are not aware of your surroundings and physical needs. But your physical self is aware of them, and is slowly gnawing at your subconscious.

i used to water the bed too when i was young. ^__^;; and yeah, i would dream i was peeing and poof! when i wake up i'm wet. LOL until now (no, i don't water the bed anymore LOL) i dream that i am taking a pee and thank goodness it doesn't happen in reality. i would wake up feeling the need to go though.

maybe so but there is nothing to prove that our dreams are trying to send a message.if you can not figure,there is no use pondering over it.i think the state of mind in which we go to sleep,has a lot to do with our dreams.

I haven't been on a lot so will have to check back on your entries to see the number dreams - which I get alot - I don't particularly like numbers but will dream of series of numbers. Her dreams sounds a bit more horrific then forgetting your money at a store though. Have you checked the significance of the numbers - maybe with numerology. Although with that you'd have to keep adding the numberss together to get the right number. Like if your birthday is today, 8.16.1970 First, reduce the day-, month- and year of your birth into a single digit Then you add these three single digits (or master numbers) and reduce the result again into a single digit number (except for the master numbers 11 and 22). There are different directions for this not sure if it counts for all numbers. BUt I'm sure there must be something to check all these numbers against - maybe this weeks lotto numbers?

hi artemis! how do i reduce my birthdate to a single number? i don't know much about numerology but it sounds interesting. but it seems a difficult topic if self-studied. i forgot to give my numbers to an officemate who always plays the lotto. i think i'll check the lotto results if indeed the numbers are lucky.

Not all dreams, maybe, SecretBear, but I do think that sometimes they are connected. It happens too many times to be a coincidence. There are many things about how we gather intelligence that are not known to scientists.
