are you brand conscious of your cam? for me it doesn't really matter as long as you take good quality pictures out of it.. but last year,my brother bought me an olympus digicam and from them on,i fell in love with it...

THere are many fine cameras out there. My brand-consciousness is focussed on avooiding the ones with poor or no reputations.

So am I have the Olympus digital camera. It is excellent equipment for the not very high price. From very beginning very much they were caring about optics at these apparatuses. Regards, malawika.

I think what matters most is the performance of the item. Indeed there are some brands that really perform better than the others so it pays if we take note of that brand so that the next time we buy we know which brand shall we choose. Meanwhile, I'm happy that you love your Olympus Digicam. I'm sure it's working great for you. Mine is Cannon and I'm so far satisfied with it. Have a nice day!

Canon has always been my brand. I have an slr and a point & shoot digi. My son is studying digital photography in college and he uses Canon also. They are very reliable and they stand behind their products.

Well I don't focus on the brands so much, but then again I do, because I make sure that I watch out for a few bad brands out there. I use an Olympus E-500 professional digital SLR. Now I love that camera, I don't think I will need to upgrade for years, and the only thing you would need to upgrade anyway is maybe a lens, but even those just seem perfect, I don't know what could even be improved . Olympus is a well rounded good brand though, I actually like it better than Nikon.
