do you do volunteer work?

i always love to go on medical mission and help them but i just don't have much time before and probably when i go home this coming november, some of my friends before are planning to conduct one and i am making sure i won't be missing this one. i even wanted to apply in UN for any kind of humanitarian mission but most especially in medical side, that is my forte. i was a volunteer EMT before in our local EMS then later on i was absorbed and get hired full time. i stayed in EMS longer than i thought i would, i also became a First Aid and CPR instructor which i teach in some time without asking for any fee as long as they would learn how to do them.

yes i do all the time, i love helping others. i'm not rich or anything but i have extra money to help out a few people. i have always been that type of person to give to others before myself. i was raised to always help others who are less fortunate than yourself, and that's what i do. currently, i'm buying stuff off ebay to give to some kids and their families in homeless shelters. i'm also a member of wishuponahero.com, and help people out in need there. there is no better feeling than helping someone. just knowing that i make one child smile a day is enough to make my day. volunteering to help others is a very good way to brush aside all the negative stuff that comes along.

I did volunteer at a nursing home for six years after my mother passed away, but now i just help an elderly neighbour and a couple of friends, it is very rewarding work volunteering but it was very surprising how many people asked me why i do things for no pay...a strange thing to ask I think...

i do desire to help others but can not do so now for health reasons.you are doing a commendable job.keep it up.
