This is a shot of one of my Banana pepper plants. So far this summer I have picked maybe 20 or more peppers freom the 8 plants I have. With the heat, humidity, and sunshine we;ve had here in Minnesota for a few weeks, things really started to grow supererbly. How's your gardens doing as far as weather goes? Heat? Sunshine? Too wet from rain? I've gotten very little rain so I've been watering every other day at least to keep things growing here. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi Grandpa Bob, Too wet here in the UK and definitely not enough sunshine, tomatoes still green, my peppers eaten by slugs and snails but my small section of turfs has taken well and has grown enough to be cut and my rose bushes are coming back to life after being munched at by rabbits so getting there. Ellie :D

Once it warmed up we have done really well. I am eating lots of tomatoes. The fruit trees had a very good year.

Banana peppers, I have never heard of these, do they taste like bananas or peppers, I am not much good at gardening i am afraid, but for the last couple of years i have grown a couple of big tubs of cherry tomatoes and they were lovely...you sound like you have quite a nice vegie patch...

They are a pepper. Called Banana just due to their shape is all. Nowhere like a banana flavor. All pepper flavor, but a bit sweet at times. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

My garden is going well. We are getting quite a bit of rain this summer in FL so I haven't had to water much. We collect rainwater to use on days when we don't get rain. Your peppers look lovely. I will have to try my hand at banana peppers too. I have habenero and jalapeno pepper plants and a to of VERY HOT habenero peppers. I have has so many peppers I have to give them away lol. I started some seed today zuchinni and bush beans. It is FL so I can grow all year long and love it.

We haven't had a lot of rain here, either. It's been a most unusual summer, very cool and a bit dry. So much for global warming here in Ohio!

Gardening season is over for me here in Florida. My garden did very little, but I was told I planted too late. Next year I have a plan to start getting things ready in either January or Februaury. I'm also going to plant some of my seeds inside in an inside garden and then plant them when they've grown some and it's time.

Oh, I just love banana peppers. Makes my mouth water to think of them. I have no real garden to speak of this year. Just some flowers for color and I've had to water them a good bit.

How beautiful! You must have green thumbs and patience! We don't have any of our own but our landlady is starting one in a yard in the back of ours (inside the hen and turkey yard). It looks like everything is growing great. We have a lot of heat here in NM but its monsoon season now.

It has been so dry here, it is difficult to get dirt to grow! I do love to dig in the dirt-was raised on a small farm, dirt famers, ya know! I love banana peppers too, had some last year but nothing grew this year, too hot. Grow and eat a few for me. :)

Those peppers look good. We live in the southeast and this time of the year it rains almost every afternoon. And right now we are waiting on a hurricane (FAY) to pass through so we may get LOTS of rain in the next day or so.
