Why does Liuxiang quit ?

Just now,all of my colleages are sitting before the computer waitting for Liuxiang.But to our surprise,he quit the game.At first,we can not accept the
result.All the Chinese people are pround of him and we have great expections
on him.We hope they can give us an excellent performance.Then I take a second
thought,why he quit? Maybe the pressure is too big for him to stand.We hope he
can recover soon and creat more miracles to the world.

I'm also a chinese and shocked with this news. Although he didin't win in this match, he'll be the hero in our chinese mind forever. I also wish he can recover soon and one day if possible i can see him in the event again. I believe he can fly again in future. We'll all stand beside him and support him. Come qn, Liuxiang!

He quit because he was injured. He didn't want to quit. In fact, he made a valiant effort to try and stand on that starting line to represent China. He just couldn't handle the hurdles with his torn achilles. Did you not see him crying, literally, under the stadium? It really affected me, and I blogged about him.

If he didn't quit, this would be his last game ever. I believed that quitting the game to him is a greater loss than to us or our country. I wish him luck and hope that he will recover soon. God bless Liu Xiang.

Something is wrong with his achilles, and he has had injury problems all year! I hope he can return to form next year, and challenge Robles new WR! Liu Xiang doesn't have the same flat out speed, but he is so graceful over the hurdles!
