Very Good! The Trusted Brand of Toothpaste!

Glister Toothpaste - This is the toothpaste brand that I am so in love with. Are you using it too?

I had switched from my usual brand of toothpaste (Darlie) to this brand and had been using it for over 10 months! I must say that I am really impressed with what it had achieved for me!The brand is Glister (Pictures uploaded), and it had even made itself into one of the most trusted brand in Reader's Digest. This toothpaste is sold in 93 countries and more and more markets are opening up for it. Have you guys heard of Glister? Anyway, it had achieved what other brands of toothpaste had not achieved for me. I smoke, and thus have the unsightly nicotine stains on my teeth. No matter how hard I brush my teeth or how many times I brush them in a day, these stubborn stains still remained. Thus, when my friend (who was selling this) approached me, I was all too willing to give the toothpaste a try. It really surprise me as within just a short period of 2 months, the nicotine stains were gone! That really works wonder as it had done what other brands had not managed to do in just a short period of 2 months! Besides that, other brands of toothpaste could only last for 1 month or so for my family and I. Glister toothpaste lasted me a total of 3 months for the same size tube. No doubt, the initial cost was more expensive than the normal household brands, but after trying out the first tube, it works out to be much more cheaper than the normal household brands, and at the same time, it delivers what it claimed to deliver. Besides that, the formula is so concentrate that when we rub the toothpaste on our fingers, the paste would not distingerate into water like all the other brands out in the market. This is something which I like a lot, as it just proved to me that the manufactors are serious in selling something of quality and not something I could get from my bathroom (water). All in all, this is the best brand of toothpaste for me and I would stick with it, if possible for the rest of my life! What about you? Is there any stories of your affair with your brands of toothpaste that you are using?

I don't use a well known brand of toothpaste. I just use the local supermarket one, not the cheapest value one but the next one up. have had no problems with it and the dentist is always pleased with my teeh when I go for my twice yearly check ups. The children use a children's toothpaste with a fruity flavour.

Thanks for your response and for sharing your story with us! Of course, normal supermarket ones works well for people who does not have nicotine stains. I used to use the normal cheap ones when I had not started smoking and it works out great. White teeth, perfect smile and all that stuff. However, once I started smoking and nicotine stains starts to accumulate on the surface of my teeth, normal toothpaste no longer works. What it does was only to make the stains even more obvious by whitening the teeth surrounding the stains, but not decreasing the intensity of the stains in anyway. So, different people have different preferences. And I respect yours

haha.. even if i showed that example to them, they also wun be able to understand what i'm trying to tell them, especially my father, as he's already wearing a full set of fake teeth.. LOL =D As for my mom, the likelihood of her saying that, the plastic bag is lousy is higher than understanding that the toothpaste is actually bad for her.. lol =D ANd the other reason as to y she buys darlie in the 1st place is that, it's the cheapest among all ^_^ Lol

Aiyo the mentality of the older generation is tough to change. Lol. I can just imagine that scenerio. Even when we talk till we are blue in the face, they will still be set in their mindsets and argue till they are red in the face. ROLF I guess we can understand that cheap does not neccessarily equals to quality. But, the older generation can never understand. However, we can never blame them on that. (As said, your dad is wearing fake teeth already, and yet, they say that darlie is good) Pengz! As long as you know that it pays off in the long run to pay off for your health, that's good enough I guess. Well, take care and take good care of your teeth wor! Lol.

Darlie is seriously a very bad brand of toothpaste. They do nothing for your teeth and when we grow older, our teeth will drop out! Any other brands in the market is still better than Darlie! Try to get your family to change their preference for the toothpaste brand if possible! Lol, all of us have a child inside of us, no matter what age or milestone we are at. AAnd this presents its case in your situation. Hehe. I love toothpaste for kids too *shh.. don't tell anybody.. it's a secret!* All the best of luck in getting your family to change their toothpaste brand. Colgate is good (if you aren't a smoker). A small little trick (if you have colgate by your side) to get your family to change their minds immediately, follow the following steps: 1. Get a NTUC plastic bag. 2. On the colour logo, apply the two brands of toothpaste side by side. 3. Rub the toothpaste in a circular motion. You will be shocked to find that "darlie" is able to remove the colourings from the plastic bag as compared to the rest of the other brands of toothpaste! This shows that Darlie contains too much of preservatives in them that is harmful to our teeth as well as they strip away the protective enamel of our teeth! So, show this to your family and I can guarantee that they will be changing their toothpaste to the brand that you like Good luck and take care my friend!

I switch toothpaste every next month because I have read in newspaper a doctor wrote that you must keep on changing your soap and toothpaste. Now I am using Colgate which has fresh granuales in it. I have always used branded toothpastes like Colgate, Signal 2 etc. I don't know what brands are available in Singapore. I am talking of brands available in Pakistan.

We have colgate here too! Colgate is not so much of a bad brand. It is quite good, if you are not a smoker. Is it really true that we must switch our personal care products every once in a while? Why is that so? Do you have the article that you can upload for us to read? Haha you just got my curiousity radar up high, and I want to know! Well, thanks for your response, take care and happy Mylotting!

Yes, Glister is a product of Amway! You got that right Are you using Amway products as well? Haha, I swear by their products for all personal care items, as well as household products (Not sure about their cosmestic and nutrition though - there are better items out there). I agree with that. Different brands cater for different usage, and people. Majority of the time, cheap does not equal to quality. So, I always believe in a trusted brand that serves its purpose rather than get a cheaper brand that works nothing. Thanks for your input! And Happy Mylotting!

yes i am using some of the AMWAY products, its level best and sometimes i feel costly also but as it keeps good health i am ok with that too. As you said the quality matters most in some basic proudcts where we cant sacrifice. Amway range of products are good in all items, you can fist have a test try on other products if you find useful then you can keep as your habit. Happy mylotting my friend, your smileys are so sweet than responses....
