Crewbux Ad : Would you trust this?

This is the second time that I have come across an ad on crewbux that brought me to a screen in the firefox tab, that appears to be a screen shot of "my computer" folder that appears to be scanning for viruses with an antivirus software. The last time it did this I did not notice immediately as I went to another tab right after clicking the ad and it appearing on the screen. However, the last time it also froze up the laptop as I was trying to close the tab but could not. I had to turn off my laptop because of this. This time it appeared, and I closed it. I am not sure whether the ad is the same but if anyone has any insight on it, I would be glad to receive it. The ad's title is as follows : Cashmatic Elit $$ Club. The ad itself looks like a scam as it says $9.00 sign up bonus with $9.00 from all level 1 refs.
So what do you think of this?
Do you think that the ad is a scam?
Do you think that it is a virus carrying ad?
Would you contact crewbux if you saw this?

That's interesting. I haven't seen one like it. I believe it's just some php or java and javacript code embedded in the page. So you can safely ignore the animation. But don't quote me on that. As a junior programmer, I wouldn't pay attention to it.
As for the payment, tt does sound ridiculously high. I would check it out if I want to find out but wouldn't have high expectations.

It does not have anything to do with the animation as their is no animation on the graphic that is on the banner. It is what the banner is linked to, or what is embedded as a code in the banner that is more bothersome. I appreciate your response, I hope you have a wonderful and lovely day.

hey hiii, even i am a crew bux member but i haven't come across any add as such and nothing has happened to my laptop at least till now. i would sincerely ask you to contact the admin of crew bux and report it. crew bux is a trusted site...
