Being a college student really takes up a lot of responsibility and discipline for you to be able to pass and graduate. When I was in high school, i knew that there were more break times/recess in college and so I thought "It must be an easier life to be a college student" but my mom contradicts it then. It's only now that I've realized that she is right. I miss my high school days. I like being a college student too because I'm more free to be with my friends than when I was in high school but I really miss being in high school too.. How about you? Were you happier in High school than in your college life?

i am much happier now because i am in college. college means more free time to do what you want to do.you can join the club, you can earn some money, you can drink, dancing in the pub...many many things that high school student can't do.

Ok, here's what I want to share with you. You're right, college life is complicated and a bit different compare to highschool life because you were about to take things more seriously this time. Neither highschool nor college life can tell where you were happier, well, it depends who you were with (good friends, your boyfriend)and if you really want what you were doing. So if you are about to enter college be decided that you're 1000% sure that "this is what you really want to do", not "because this is what I suppose to do".

I think I was definately happier in college - I really worried to much about what everybody else thought when I was in high school. In college I really started to stand on my own two feet.

I was more happier when i was in college because i learned to be independent.Though i was missing my family but it helped me to become mature and learned to handle things without them.I studied in other city 2 hours ride from ours so i only see them during weekend.I was successful in earning my degree and i was much more happier after then.

I never went to college, so I have no idea whether I would have been happier then then in high school. I do not know that except for the learning, I did not like high school. I was always the last one picked, I was a wall flower, and I was not good at sports. I was bad at dancing and really no one would chose me for the prom. so I never got any practice. I stood in the corner with the other non blonds pimply faces waiting for someone to ask me. So I felt if college is like high school, well I never got a chance to go because of the money.

well, college life means more responsibility and highschool life is more like pure fun. Because of the different ages and different minds, it is hard to say which one is happier. Just the way I always think about my life, it seems that when I look back to the old days I feel happier in it. Maybe I finish my college life, I will feel better than now.

I was happier in college as I wasn't the only different one - Bigger classes less being picked on. In high school i was different...more of a geek a bookworm not into the partying scene like the rest of the people in my class (there was 18 in my graduating class) and i was picked on for about seven years. Not as bad for the last 3 years because i stood up for myself...the years before that i was picked on daily.

I am much happier in college. In high school, I never really found my stride til the end. In college, the freedom was nice, but I also was just a lot more comfortable with myself by that time. And being comfortable with yourself is a big help at making one happy.

I was happier in college because I was so much freer. In college, I had assistants and could regulate when I went to bed, when I got up, and when people came to help me. It was my first real taste of independence. In high school, I had no independence because I had no personal assistants except during school hours. I couldn't decide to go out with my friends because there would be no way for me to go to the bathroom. College was definitely an improvement. It showed me what the world could be like even if you had a disability.

hi. actually i miss high school life. back then life was uncomplicated. also i have my friends with me. nowadays, we are on our own....living our own lives far from each other. we are still friends but the problem work and life gets in the way. we graduated from college almost 11 years ago. don't get me wrong, college life was ok, however, it was very hectic. i had taken two degrees so coping was very hard and i had to subsist on 5-6 cups of coffee each day. wah... talk about being over caffeinated... LOL... now that i am working. i miss those carefree days. hehehe... i had more time to read books and do whatever i wanted. now, it's all work and work. so enjoy your life, whether in high school and college because we will never be able to turn back the time. life goes on and so shall i... hehehehe... hoping for better tomorrows... happy mylotting ~ Shiloh

you know as we grow older we assume more responsibilities in life so while you were in high school less was expected from you but as you get to college you find that you have more focus if you are the focused or serious type and more will be expected from you from both friends and family as well as your community.

In my part I never enjoyed my College day because I am a working as a Sales Clerk in the Mall (Wrangler Boutique) and at the same time I pursue my studies and I also have a great experience in my High School because my friend and I are grouping together and make a lot of happenings......

I have only been to college for half a year so I wouldn't know much in college life. While in high school I have sets of friends, some suitors, cutting classes and a hunk teacher. I couldn't ask for more. So definitely I choose high school life rather college. I even cried with my friends when we graduated. High school life has lots of colorful memories that I would cherish forever.
