Why do you post a discussion here?

Friends, one question. Why do each one of us post a discussion here?? 1. Is it really that we need other people's views on that particular thing? Do we really care whether the discussion is resolved?? 2. Is it just to make some money out of it in case people respond?? 3. Is it that we just love to post discussions and talk about this with friends?? I think i am a bit into 1 and 2. Can i have your opinions on this.

I'd have to say it's a combination of all the above as well as making new friends along with keeping the old. I like to read other people's opinions as long as they're polite and on the subject at hand. However, I don't want to hear someone who's a hot head or even off in the head talking about something that's completely bizarre.

Like your reasons too, but I enjoy discussing things with others. Money is something every one needs, I need it too but for a living it cant be used. I like discussing with ohter people and I like also topics that also interest me. I dont respond to topics that dont interest me. This also remove some of my work related stress.

It is more that I am number three. I like to meet new people, and learn new things. I feel really good if I can help people. After that, I would probably say #2, as that is why I originally came here. Number one is not relevant for me.

To be honest with you; at first it was for the money. Then when I really starting getting in to this; the discussions started to get some what interesting. So then I thought this is place to be if want to find a good answer to a question. Rather it be a simple question; or something that needs a little thinking done first. The money is good; but reading the response on most of these discussions; to me is better.

It was really all about the money at first. But now I really enjoy the discussions. I enjoy reading what others have to say about a certain topic and of course, who doesn't enjoy being asked for one's advice and opinion? In myLot, advice, suggestions, opinions are solicited. Woohoo! I also enjoy commenting on my responder's er, replies. That's when I realized I'm not here for the money anymore. I like the volley of different ideas and experiences. Also, I think some of us post discussions to get our own opinions validated by other myLotters who agree with us. Ahem. Do you hear me, myLotter, who disagreed with me last night?

Hi, I post a discussion here when I get a good idea for discussing and also to get other people's views. It is nothing of a planned sort and is just when I find it interesting .
