I throw mine off, too, when it's hot. When I was married, he'd hog the covers no matter what season it was.
I always needed a sheet because in the back of my mind I was afraid something would sneak up and get me--yeah, it's crazy but it started when I was little and would have to have at least a scarf laid across me. Now I can sleep without any covers, which is really nice. I have no fear in this house of mine, the first ever I've not had a creepy feeling about!

maybe because your partner was the one who pick it from the floor
while if your alone..it goes down..maybe you sleep like a clock that is every hour you change in position or maybe you had kick it down...i myself sometimes do that ..even with my husband is with me in the bed..its the pillow who is always on the floor everymorning..its how i am when sleeping..

Meow Rosekitty, So you are a sheet thief? I'm not but
I get accused of it. My roomate says I steel the sheet
to cover the cat (Star). He's a tiny cat who sleeps right
next to me. The roomate holds the "pillow woman" and I
hold the cat! He's the bed & sheet hog, not me. But I get
blamed for steeling the sheet to cover that poor tiny
little cat who is barely on the bed. Most of the time
it's too hot to even cover myself with the stupid sheet.
oh, I'm hardly ever in the bed with the roomate anyway.
We have opposite schedules. By the time I go to sleep,
he get up for work. Meow-Opalkitty

I guess I'm okay. My husband doesn't complain.
He sometimes gets mad because I stay up to
late. We do use different covers now. He sweats
really bad, always has. Bothers me.
So I have my own cover......:-)

yes .. i am a difficult sleeping partner .. at times i prefer to sleep alone .. did you know that Japanese Couple actually have 2 separate beds (Single bed), they do their ### projects then go back to their own bed. I like having my partner around during cozy , rainy nights but not everyday...especially since he is "sheet stealer" actually he has 1 and i have 1 but he loves mine .. and i love mine too
cheers

I am exactly like you, plus I toss and turn and do not get a good night's sleep either.

I doubt I'd be easy to sleep with in the long term. I don't sleep well and can only sleep on my sides - and only certain ways on my sides so I don't just "roll over" I have to wake up and reposition myself.
I have a terrible time with sheets too, for one thing, I generally have a few cats weighing the darn thing down! However, there are days I come home and find my sheet on the floor and I KNOW I didn't do that!I have a cat that loves to play "mousie under the covers" so much, he'll even get under the covers and BE the mouse! Last winter I found the top sheet stripped off the bed and the blanket still on it! I finally gave up on the sheet all together!

Hi Rosekitty, I am an easy person to sleep next to once asleep as I lay very still and the covers will remain intact but I am a real fidget whilst trying to get off to sleep but as I also sleep alone the only person it annoys these days is myself. Ellie :D

Lolol. Well, sometimes I'm restless and sometimes I don't budge. I did accidently hurt someone once. My legs sometimes bother me and I brought my knee up, and, well, you know. He told me if I had been smiling or awake he would have wrung my neck.
The cats hog the covers! I get hot initially and throw them to the side. Then when I get cool during the night I have to fight the cats and the hubby for them. I usually end up pulling so much that they pull loose from the bottom of the bed and I end up with a corner, lol.
Also, I hear every sound. Barry says I can hear an ant poot in China and wake up, lol.
Hugs,
Carolyn
