Best Respond benefit ?

Hey winzpc...thanks for posing this question; I've learned a lot from the responses. There are things about this site I still don't get...so thanks everybody.

I am even newer than you so I cant wait to read the responses you get because I am not exactly sure what to do. I read the responses and reply to them if I think it is necessary. From reading your posting, I find I have to do extra. Hope someone explains it all

I'm not too sure what it does, but it surely does something. I've had a day with about 3 best responses at once and I did think my earnings where higher then other days even though I hadn't been more active and posted more photo's. Thing is, no one can be really sure about it. Resolving discussions is a good thing because you'll get a huge list otherwise and keeps space open for other users to start similar topics; otherwise mylot would get to crowded with all these open topics. It also is a recognition of your hard work trying to make a good response, so it's also a bit of a mental thing I guess. Like a pat on the shoulder one could say. It could also increase your starrating but once again I must say I can't be sure on that either. Would be great of mylot themselves would respond to your discussion and clear this up, lots of people wonder the same thing. Good discussions!

well, marking best response is actually the discretion of the person who started the discussion. it makes people feel good when they earn the best response mark, so i would say, yes it helps. i like it and it really makes me happy whenever i get the mark. i don't always get the best reponse mark, very often, but even if it's not always, it's still happy getting that mark!

Every time I create a discussion I mark the best response for it. It helps the person who posted as well as myself. Even if the discussion doesn't appear to be extremely important, you should always mark who has the best response!

i try to mark all my best response as i go, but a couple discussions ive neglected to go back and do so. i think its a good thing to do and will try and get to those soon.

Just as we are posting responses to discussions, so also many people are posting their responses to our discussions. So by putting a best response mark, we are honouring a person here on the myLot pages! So also we get the honour from other people! This increases the star grade rating as discussions are resolved regularly confirming the best responses. I try to mark the best response to my discussions, which attend five responses. i am here for more than ayrear. till I am not very c;ear about the earning here. i was told by som eother users that we earn extra for BR. i think I am not sure

I have been on mylot for about five months now and I have learned about best responses and what I have learned is that when you mark someone as a best response, and when you get best responses you get a little extra earnings,but I am not completely sure if that is true or not,and I do not think that marking best responses effects your star rating,and I always mark best responses on my discussions and I usually wait until my discussions have been up about a week before I mark the best response.

Yes right it will increase your popularity. I think the star has to do with your reputation here at mylot. How the other users rate you. Maybe in a way the best response has effect. I really would not know but I believe it does have effect to some extent. I make sure I give best response as long as I find that somebody really deserves so. In choosing the best response it should be literally the best response according to my own judgment.

I make it a point to mark the best responses in every discussion that I start. It is a way of showing our appreciation to our respondents. It will increase the star rating and the ranking in a particular interest. Have a nice day!

hey buddy, how are you? Marking best response doesn't increase the stars. Stars depends on the rating given by the fellow mylotters. Best response is selected to let others know that you have found this post really usefull. This also increses your reputation to that person who is chosen the best responser. and that guy will also recieve $.02 as reward of your positive marking. You may forget me but I didn't. You once made me the best response. Thanks for that. Not for the money but for the support.

WinzPC, I think its better for all of us to understand one thing that, Whatever good thing we are going to in MyLOt is going earn ourself money directly or Indirectly. Confused...? Ok let me put like this, If Marking Best Response will give you earnings that will be great. If It doesnt pays then dont stop marking best responses. Because if you mark best response its just like giving respect to some one who replied to your discussion. And in future that person will have good rapo with you and definetly he will come back to your discussions and will post reponses regurarly to your discussion. More response you get to your discussion more you earn. So you are indirectly earning here. So keep habbit of marking good responses. Also mark positive ratings which you feel good but not the best one. Hope I am Clear here and Made some sense with my response.

Well Even i Don,t have any Idea If the Best Response Affetcs ur Star. As Far as i Know I to my Topic Pick My Best Response. When the Responder has a Very Good Point in it.

For every discussion that you start you can mark one response as the best response. I make sure I mark the best response for the reply that I have liked best. I do not know whether it increases the rank or popularity but I like to acknowledge to the person who has posted that I liked his response the best.

I have not marked any best responses on my discussions yet because I did not know how long to wait but I am going to go onto the unresolved and mark the earliset ones when I finish this. I will leave the other one to see if I get some more replys. Thanks for starting this discussion. I am still learning.
