I just looked at my profile page and noticed that it already lists me as 40! I won't be 40 for almost 2 more weeks. I want to make not being 40 yet last as long as I can. I was actually planning on skipping this birthday. Why is mylot jumping the gun?

They did the same thing to me back in April. They made me 30 years old close to 2 weeks early. I have yet to figure out how they round out the birthday's here. You were planning on skipping this birthday huh? I had thought about that when I turned 30. 29 forever!

I think they update at the beginning of the month for all the current month's birthdays. I was 29 about 3 weeks early and my birthday wasn't until July 24th.
I joked with everyone that it was my last birthday. I figure 29 is a good enough number!

I thought you could actually chose your age? I seem to remember a certain high poster listing her age as 88 even though she was no where near that.
But other than that I think it's a good idea to list age in the profiles. How many cheaters have been caught because discussions didn't match with their age and people got suspicious. I know some just lie about their age for privacy but they also don't have inconsistencies in their discussions.

Well, my profile etc. says I have been a member now for 2 yrs, and has said it for a while now. I will not officially be a member here for 2 yrs. until October 13th. And it also says a discussion I started in Feb is 7 months old. So there updating system is set to an Earlier time it looks like. But I did want to wish you an early Happy 40th. Being 40 is not bad. Life is just beginning.

They did the same thing to me. About a month before I turned 27, I looked at my profile, and instead of seeing 26, it listed me as 27. I thought it was odd, and I even e-mailed to inquire about it. I don't know why I e-mailed them though. It's not like it was important enough for them to actually answer me. : )

I am sorry for laughing but, excuse me while I snicker.
40 is not so bad. Look forward to it. Yeah, so what if my lot is rushing it a bit. It just kind of gets you used to saying it about yourself.
At 40, you are just getting started, but you have life experiences to draw from. You are wiser, you.......hmmmm, forgot what else.
Oh, yeah! you start forgetting things. That's fun. You get to make new friends everyday, even though it may be the same friends every day.*LOL*
I am just kdding! But, 40 really isn't so bad. Sit back and have fun with it!
