Does anyone out there still using iomega zip drive? I was using this one until now and it is good as compared to CD because you can store 100 MB in just one tape. However, since USB is IN now, this is starting to vanish on the market. Did you find it useful before?

iomega - zip drive
It is a separate drive D Writer was introduce. You can work directly from this drive and the zip disk is cheap and good for back up purposes.

i have not used zip drive. i only used floppies and CD's before. now, i am stuck with a single flash disc which is very helpful in my job and also for entertainment purposes. (neildc @ red/89/1671)

I have honestly never heard of it before. It sounds like something that would be useful to alot of people though. I do not store alot of stuff so I do not have much input about it, but it sounds like it would be great to use and would be missed if it was no longer around or available.

Hi, I still use it for backup purpose only( cdrom is prone to scratch), but I prefers USB stick for transferring a file (USB slot can be found in any pc today).
