It's the first time Avril Lavigne come to Malaysia for a concert! You know what our government did? 1) They said, Avril Lavigne is way too sexy, it would not give a good example to the younsters' mind, so BANNED! NO CONCERT! 2) They said, Avril Lavigne do a lot of jumping & shouting on the stage, so BANNED! NO CONCERT! 3) They said again, Avril Lavigne's concert is 2days before the independence day, so BANNED! NO CONCERT!!!!! GRRR!!!! I'm so damn hate this Malaysia government!!! I mean they let their local rock stars do the jumping shouting yet not get banned??? You feel this reasons given by the government reasonable enough??? Avril too sexy? I mean since when Avril has sexy??? This is really The Best "DAMN" Tour!

That is pretty crazy. I understand why you and other Avril fans would be upset. I don't think she acts sexy either. I think she's a strong, successful woman who's a good role model for others. I can't imagine that happening here in the US.

It seems that your government finally allowed her to perform. I've been following this news from your country lately. Its shameful that the government is constantly inconsistent with their rulings. Like what you mention, the local artist can do the so-called "immoral activities" in their country but not the foreigners. That's plain hypocrisy.

Avril Lavigne has so many fans and pretty sure you're one of them. Your government may have reasons why they banned Ms AL. Trust and love your government.

I've read that news and I really think its ridiculous. No offense to Malaysian government. But Avril Lavigne is a performer, what do they expect?! And their reasons.. And what is wrong with performing 2 days before independence day?! and what is wrong with the jumping?!
