Thats a nice piece of information to store back into the old brain! I'm terrible about breaking glasses. Next time it happens I will give this a try!

I know when you use a broom it always seems to leave behind the smaller pieces and they always end up causing trouble . Like stepping in them or like you said cutting yourself . next time that happens i will have to try and remember that !

Thanks for the tips. Well I think I could use too something stick to pick them up because it's like wasting food when you use bread.

That's a good tip. I have often experienced cutting my fingers on shards of broken glass that are nearly invisible. Thanks for sharing the tip.

Hey roshand. I'm worse than that! I usually just bend down
and pick up the broken glass with my bare hand and of course
get cut! I didn't say it was smart! I'm always so afraid
that my little cats will get cut. I start picking up the
larger pieces with my hands and then I will finally wet a
piece of paper towel and pick up the smaller pieces. After
that I will go into the bathroom and get the peroxide and
the bacitracin and bandade to fix the cut on my hand!

ouch....it is very nice of you to try to keep your cats safe but,OMG how many times you did this? I suggest you this, when you break something take your cats inside a room and close the door, then take your time and clean the mess very carefully, you know that tiny little shards..it hurts..take care Opal

Wow, does that really work? If so then that's great to know, I will have to remember that one and make sure to tell others I know. Where did you learn this? Is it s atrick your parents used or did you learn it elsewhere? Thank you for sharing this information and happy mylotting.
