How many of you have at least one power cord octopus in your home? We do, and I hate looking at it.Safe and efficient wireless electricity could revolutionize modern life.Electricity was sent wirelessly to a lamp on stage, lighting a 60 watt bulb that uses more power than a typical laptop computer. Yep wireless electricity! Would you use this? What do you think?

I would worry that it is probably energy inefficient. Also, even if it is energy efficient, it is bombarding the house with energy which would have who knows what effect on kids, pets, etc...

That is really fascinating. Wireless electricity...so no more plug-ins? Ever?
I'm amazed. I'm so sick and tired of all of our cords jumbled up in huge messes stuffed behind the furniture.
My mind is racing now...what about small electric things? Like hair dryers, straigteners, coffee pots..would those be cordless as well? If so...that means everyone's going to have to replace everything they've already got, right?
That could be expensive. Everything electrical has a cord attached to it.
It would look better in your home cosmetically...but financially? Ouch.
