I have just been scaning through the no response section and why oh why do people post there discussions twice? There are quite a lot at the momnent... do people think they are going to get more money if they post the same question twice?? Do you find this? Do you find it annoying when you are trying to help people out by starting there discussions for them? Is this really allowed to happen? Your views please. Thanks Anne18

Hi Anne, I have tried that one time and at first attempt, I thought I didn't go through due to my connection problem so that might be the reason why they posted it twice!

Are you asking why they post two identical discussions? That is sometimes due to a glitch on the site. Are you asking why they copy your discussions, word for word? That is abuse and should be reported. If you are asking why they have similar discussions it is because things that are not tagged well do not come up in a search, or they plain do not search, which is me. The things they are discussing might be of pretty universal interest, and it is inevitable that more than one person or group of friends might want to discuss the same subject. There are more than 140,000 users here.

I agree with you. These duplicate questions or discussion topics can be really annoying at times. This happened to me on my last response to a discussion which was about shopping lists. There are so many similar or duplicate entries. There should be a system which can remove these duplicate entries. If moderators are reading this, I have a suggestion. Introduce a tab or a button, something as "Mark as duplicate". Users can mark them and moderators can later decide on it and remove it. This will save lot of calculations, time, space and bandwidth. What say Anne?
