my thread was removed once again...Please tell me what I did wrong.

I'm really upset that my discussion was removed once again. I really don't know what I did wrong and have been really careful with what I say. I understand discussions are meant for discussing things and not sharing information but this category is about making extra money and some of the members need information for them to succeed in this business. All I did was providing information and not forcing them to join anything. I have seen people repeatedly post their sites that promote their affiliate links here (yes. there's nothing in their sites but their affiliate links and a bunch of advertisments). My blog has content and honest reviews, at least that what I think. I have no idea how mylot moderates posts. I hope moderators will explain to me what's wrong or one day I might get banned from this great site without knowing what I did wrong. Perhaps veteran members can point out my mistake again so I won't repeat the same mistakes. Hmmmm has given me some good points and I don't think I violated any of them except for sharing information instead of a real discussion. (I did ask for opinions in the thread that just got removed, so it was sort of a kind of discussion which I see quite frequently here) disappointed curiousman

I sent you a message about it... KGB is working! I've noticed there are people around who are reporting every single discussion which starts with a link in it - even if the link isn't a referral link and the person who posts it doesn't gain anything from it. As far as I recall, there even weren't any link in your discussion - you just suggested to read your page from your profile. Perhaps the poor fool who reported it supposed you want to sell something. He/she even didn't bother himself/herself enough to read what are you telling about. He din't notice the e-book is free, and there isn't a capture page (when he/she is reading this discussion now he/she is obviously wondering what a capture page is)... It's just LIFE. We have to deal with stupidity and narrow-mindedness every day, on- and offline. Do what I told you to do in my message. Create a banner, and be active enough people would view your profile often.

What makes me wonder is, the links to scam sites can stay there quite long sometimes... and when somebody suggests to just to look at something what may be really useful for everybody, who wants to learn about internet marketing, and he can't make any direct profit from it - his discussion is deleted in 15 minutes.

Thank you for the comment. I've just learned a way to avoid being deleted :) Thanks to Mysdianait. Kiizu, I have to say your banner method is brilliant!!! Now I'm thinking how to do that. I'm not a graphic designer. The only time I deal with graphics is when I do snapshots of my screen...LOL...I'll research on it. Thank you for the valuable suggestion. By the way, I replied to your earlier private message in case you haven't noticed.

I think the title might have some problem. Mylot can not read all the violated discussions. So there might be a chance that your title might somehow imply that you are asking for referrals. May be i also don't understand totally why these kinds of discussions get deleted.

Mylot doesn't have an assigned moderator for each category? So I guess kiizu wasright that someone could have reported my thread as a violation. May I know how to make a report?

Look at the right of this response. There you can see this (!) Move your cursor over it & you will see report abuse. Then start reporting.

i think other users are also telling this that the threads were deleted about referral exchange. whatever may be, many times its hard to understand why the post were deleted. try to post anything other than other earning sites.

Did you post a link?

No. I didn't post a single affiliate link or even my own site. I have been using the standard phrase "check out my site in my profile" which everyone seems to use.

Oh i wouldn't know because i haven't had any of my post removed so far, and i try not to violate any rules and if i did it was purely by accident, but you said you fallowed all the rules so maybe it was just a computer glitch on mylots system.

Looks like my comment was removed and it wasn't even against the rules.

I don't think your problem is Posting a link or a referral link as I have posted a link and referral links previously in mylot. maybe there is a par in your link that doesn't Follow the mylot rules. Check out the mylot faq's and rules for more information in what you are doing wrong
