Hi! Based on his TV interview, they called him on the phone, asked about his beginnings. His days in Tenenement (is that in FTI?) Indeed, his story would definitely be inspiring, as it will tell his humble beginning to where he is now. If surely makes us proud to be Pinoy! Thanks for responding!

this is great news. i'm sure a lot of filipinos will buy that edition of reader's digest. i'm a fan of michael v. and i really like the jokes and gags that he does. i'm a particularly big fna of his work in his earlier gag show "tropang trumpo". lol! of course i like his newer work but i always go back to the michael v. of the "tropang trumpo" days to really get lots of laughs.

I also love Tropang Trumpo. I honestly think Ogie and Bitoy were funnier there and so are the jokes, the whole group's chemistry then was perfect. Thanks for responding!

yeah, i have seen that on Yahoo Philippines a while ago. and for that sets one reason for the Filipinos to be proud of. certainly, the next month RD issue gets sold out a lot quicker than expected. i will surely buy my own copy of that! thanks for posting and GOD bless!

That's wonderful! Do you know that one of my writing friends had her anecdote published too at Reader's Digest. Paid her $ 100 just for a 5 liner! I'm trying hard to enter but I guess it will take a little longer. You can send too. Try and try until we succeed. Congrats to Michael V.

Hi Jena! Actually, I have been sending anecdotes, jokes, and what-have-you to Reader's Digest long before I was even blogging. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck yet. Must really be difficult to get published to them. Thanks for responding.

Wow that is really great. Bitoy has made a mark in his career already. I guess he is a very talented actor/comedian singer and a host too. I think he really deserves to be lime lighted in Reader's Digest because of his accomplishments in his career.

It's nice to know that Michael V. have made it in the reader's digest! I'm a big fan of the RD, and I'll probably buy that copy of Bitoy... I wouldn't wonder why he earned that cover, he is really a multi-talented artist and a great person... Salute to Michael V., he raise Filipino's Pride...

he's truly remarkable..it's just fair after all the achievements he had and contributions to the entertainment industry..i just wonder why he's the first Filipino to be on cover of that mag..i mean, i think Dolphy also deserves it ain't he?
