Can I withdraw my balance in paypal to my bank which is outside the US? Has anyone done it before? Please advise. Thanks.

Malaysia is not on the list of supported countries? Dididn't realise that. Singapore is supported though. Maybe you can set up a bank account across the Causeway and just transfer to there. Preety much just an idea I'm throwing out and have no idea will work but I think it roughly works out to this. Step 1) Sign up personal account with address in Singapore, since you are allowed a premier acount and a personal account. You'll need a Singapore mailing address for this one Step 2) Set up bank account in a Singapore bank Step 3) Transfer from premier account to personal account Step 4) Transfer to Singapore bank Which part of Malaysia do you stay? Hope you stay near the Causeway, otherwise I don't think it's worth it.

hmm, just checked the Paypal supported countries list and Thailand supports Paypal too. Maybe you can try it with Thailand instead, but like I said, I have no idea if it'll work, so don't get your hopes too high.

I am in Italy and have no problems withdrawing money from Paypal into the account I have in my bank here. I think that as long as your account is verified with Paypal there should be no problems.

It's possible. I just prefer to withdraw into my bank account.

I`m a Canadian ex-pat living in Guatemala and I`ve had the exact same issue, we aren`t on the supported countries list. At the moment, it`s a big issue, switching money from my paypal to my sister`s in Canada, having her send it to me, etc. But, there is a website called Xoom that I tried once. They do transfers from Paypal to your bank account. For some reason, they said I had the wrong info for the bank here and I couldn`t get it sorted out, but they refunded all my money, so they are legit. Worth looking into, anyway.

Sure you can. I am in Singapore and I have withdrawn money from my PayPal balance straight to my bank account several times. The fee is so reasonable - free for above S$200 or just S$1 if it is below S$200. That's why I love PayPal so much. Muack. Just add a bank account and get it verified and you are set to go. If you have more questions, try querying PayPal itself. They respond to emails quite fast - within a day or 2. Cheers!

Curiousman, I just signed up with Alertpay and I was able to register with my address in Mexico. I understand that I will be able to transfer money to my bank account here.

Hi I use paypal and I am in the UK and can transfer money to my account. Is this any use to you?

That's weird because when I go to "add/edit bank account", it takes me to a page and the country is fixed to United States. I can't change it to Malaysia. My paypal is premier. Do you have a business account?

Yes, it is possible but the account is not linked to Paypal i.e. you can not draw funds back to Paypal from your bank account outside US. It only takes a week or two with Wire Transfer. Paypal has listed the countries and banks for which this facility is available currently.
