Are you a kind of person who really enjoys to where the latest fashion and trends in clothing and crazy shopping for branded clothes or are you a type of person that follows your own instinct and still have a fashion sense?

I just wear what I like. I am in no way trendy. That would probably be the last word to describe me. Actually with this retro and scrub fad thing going on the trendy ones are kinda stealing my style. Like the holes in the jeans. I was poor growing up and so I always had holes in my jeans and all the other kids made fun of me for it. Now here are the same kids paying like a hundred bucks for holey jeans. It makes no sense to me. Aughhh!! I hate fashion!

haha thats really funny and I remember back then that they make fun when you have holes is jeans ahehe but now even if you where just a piece of cloth it would still be called fashion..yup its suck though..now the trend is wearing a scarf and im sick and tired of looking to people who wheres that in a tropical country like here in the Philipines, isn't that weird? Well thanks for your participation and happy mylotting!!!

That is weird. Then again, I think that most trends and fads are. People are weird. Oh well, I don't care. I guess whatever makes people happy.

I do try to keepup with the latest trend but to the extent i am comfortable and find it acceptable to me as a part of my family and society. I look at my body structure and then see if the new trend suits me. I see what my family especially my husband finds acceptable before adopting any new fashion trend.

hi friend, Yup, fashion is person for some is more like self-expression that express their own personality and freedom but in some they are bounded by "Norms" or socially dictated policy which a person is manipulated or follow rules or what is accepted by all. For me there's nothing wrong with that as long as your happy to what your wearing actually. All of us has different opinion regarding fashion and it's up to us to dress whatever clothes that is appropriate and comfortable to us and to others. Thanks for your post and enjoy posting!!

i just wear clothes which i am comfortable with. If your comfortable with what you are wearing then youll be at ease on what you are doing. It will not ruin your day. Dont try to immitate trends of others which you cant carry. Just be what you are. The best way to be unique is simplicity. Too much accessories or wearing loud colors tops are not good in the eyes. The bottom line is how you carry your self with confidence.

I very much follow my own style which is somewhat contemporary. Well, maybe it has been a long time since overalls have been on the cover of a magazine. My fashion sense could politely be called funky and I completely follow my own instinct. I'm the one who has to wear it after all.

i am pretty aware of trends, and i follow some of them, and some i don't. i guess it still depends on my own personal style. it a trend comes up that i don't feel like it's really me (for example those giant bead necklaces and really supertight skinny jeans). when i do follow a trend i try to twist it a little bit and give it my own style.

TO day is the age of fashion. fasnionis chaging every day if man chang his dress according to fashionhe will not survive for long timebecause it is not in the rang of average middle class pepole in the days of rising price. I have my own style of clothing.I wear the ever green clothes .I am not against the fashiobut fashion should in such a style it does notlook odd .being woking in office it should look a gentle and sobber lady not show of fashionand every body have eye on you.it should not be extra ordinary style.the man is known bysthe style of clothes which he wear.it also represent the inner qualities of man. clothes should may not be very expensive but it should be according to age and occassion.this does not mean that it should old fashoinized.it should combination of modren as well good looking.it should make your pesonality impressive .

Being in your own preferences is not bad at all..if you are comfortable with what you project, then go for it.. I believe there is no rule in dressing up, the key is comfortability..I am into bussiness clothes because work require me so, I love slacks and pants and mix and match of wardrobe. If I feel comfortable with the new trend, I give myself a try on that, but most of time, being comfy in what you wear is still the best thing to consider.

I follow both. I know the latest and hot these days. After which I incorporate them to my taste. If everything's alright, then I have to follow that style. But if I see any problem, I check more new and hip styles.

I will only buy something I really like.If it's in fashion than great if not tough! I've never been a fashion victim. I don't follow any particular style. One day I will wear jeans the next I will wear smart black trousers! I really don't mind. During the summer I tend to wear long bohemian skirts and when Winter comes I dress rather smartly. One thing that is important to me however is the quality of the clothes and shoes I buy. I would rather have two pairs of good quality schoes than a wardrobe full of cheap fashionable shoes that will wear out in no time!

I always follow my own style because I'm confident and comfortable with it. I don't think trends would fit everyone and of course since we all have our own identities we should just be unique instead of following all trends that come in the market.

I usually wear what am comfortable with. When i go to work i waer what i can put my hands on in the morning. I just don't care about style and trends anymore. I think it's all about the age, the group you evolve with and the influence you have. I do from time to time like the new things in, maybe because of the colurs or the cuts, but usually i still wear tops dating 5-7 years which are still wearable :)

Its so fun to add the things that you already have and be trendy, most of the fashion is cyclical so 80's will be trendy or kinda history repeats its self... anyway thanks for the comment and have a fashionable day...alecz

I just go with what's pleasing to my eyes. I think it's too expensive to be super trendy. I have a few nice things but the majority of my wardrobe consists of jeans, t-shirts/tops, sweaters and hoodies. Comfort trumps trend any day in my book. The way you carry yourself and the little things you add to it make it your style and in my eyes that's trendy.

Its cheaper really to buy bargain clothes and cheaper clothes that still is fashionable enough to wear... Its only takes a lot of creative imagination in styling yourself in a fashionable way... thanks for your comment and happy mylotting!!!

i would have to say i'm more of a follow my own style kind of person. there are certain types of clothes that i won't touch with a ten-foot stick. it's not that it's ugly or anything. it's just that i will feel really uncomfortable in them. if i ever wear it, i'll spend all my time thinking how i can get home to change. however, i won't say i have a fashion sense. i'm more of a basics girl. so working days will see me in dresses and weekends i'll be in jeans and t-shirts. it doesn't matter what is in and what is not. most pieces i own are the so-called 'classic' as they won't be out of fashion. reason being they were never 'in' to begin with. cheers ;p

I follow my own style as it's more comfortable to me, and also what suits others might not suit me ^_^ And why should i make myself suffer just by wanting to look good?? lol =D If one is capable of bringing out their own style, it's as good as being trendy as the utmost purpose of trend, is to look good ^_^ haha

Fashion refers to a style that is popular to a certain place at a given time. A certain style in one place may differ in another. That is why, I always go on the classic style because it is timeless like simple polo and slacks or nice jeans which is appropriate in a tropical country. It also depends on the occasion of course. I also wear clothes which look better on me and comfortable wearing them. Brand is, of course, good if you can afford it. But it is not really necessary to wear clothes and stuff those of Guess, or even LV and Prada. Others are trying hard to wear branded clothes, but don't look good on them. They just look like fashion victims. Well, as long as you think you are comfortable with your clothes and you know how to carry them, that's the most important thing.
