I didn't watch much, but something she said was really profound! She said that no way did we (the people, the country, or the democrats)want 8 more years of the same thing! If you stop and think about it...it has been 8 years of a Democrat-controlled congress that has raised taxes, and stonewalled us on energy-producing solutions for this country keeping us dependant on foreign help. She's right...we don't want 8 more years of that!

At least I will go to bed at night and feel like someone is at least trying to keep me from another 911 and Obama does not have the experience to do that.

Politics is all a scam, republicans and democrats work hand in hand behind the scenes to screw over everyone who isn't them. Unless you're a politician in the in crowd you're getting screwed by one if you ask me.

I agree that Hillary was probably counting that no one would really think about what her statement truly meant. I am a republican but I am not too overly thrilled with my party affilliation right now either. But on the same token a President can only do what congress allow them to do. Its all about checks and balances and quite frankly the congress wields more power than the President does in most cases. We need to look on a broad scope of who we are putting in leadership in both positions. We need to weed out those who are not doing thier jobs. Ok I am off my political soap box now.

We do need a change, a big one. I think we need to get the parties to work together instead of bucking each other all the time. They need to quit sitting around making silly laws and work on things that are really important.

Did she say democrat-controlled congress that raised taxes or did she say Republican controlled congress? I think it republican controlled congress because she is a Democrat. I think this country needs a change.

That't the republicans that like to raise taxes. They also like to give tax breaks to the rich and slam the poor. our country was in much better shape when the clintons were in office. the republicans also went over in search of chemical weapons, found none, but found another reason to srart a war anyways. Now we have lost thousands of our people for nothing. The should have just gone in and taken out the target and gotten out of there.

So what were the Reagan and Bush tax cut all about? WMD's were found, just not reported by the MSM. Do some research and educate yourself.... you badly need it.

The whole business of blaming President Bush for eight years is totally stupid. People don't want to remember that President Bush's approval rating remained higher than that of Congress, even during the bad times. djbtol

That is a pretty standard statement. We are tired of the same old thing. I guess she was counting on no one taking a real look at the past eight years.

I would not want eight more years of a Democratic controlled congress and I am a Canadian. I hear of the high gas prices, the food being converted to ethanol, and guess what we in Canada may have to import oil and water to the States, oil and water that we may need ourselves. We are producing oil, but down in the States, they are not doing it because the Democrats have stonewalled attempts to do offshore drilling and the oil in Alaska and other parts of the States.

Yes you are so right, they can blame Bush but forget to admit that it is the democrat controlled house that stops everything that he has tried to do, and we will only get more of it if the democrats win this year. They are not interested in anything that is good for this country. I read or saw on Tv that Nancy Polski had interests in the oil industry and that is why she is against drilling here. Obama is going to be the worst thing that can happen to this country. And I hope the American public sees that, He will be their puppet.

I think a lot of dumocrats are going to be scratching their heads when they vote and find that Bush isn't on the ticket. They've been so obsessed with putting him down to make themselves look better. Hil and gang are not out yet, Snobama may levitate and put the pants suit on the back burner but she'll return sooner than later if John Mc gets in office. I wish somebody would just cut her mic, I can't stand the arrogance of those people. Since W has been in the casa blanca they've focused on him as the problem for everything, isn't that like damocrats, blame somebody else instead of doing something about it. If I have to see one more dolt kiss Barry's butt at the DNC I'm going to send the whole lot of them chap stick as a parting gift. If McCain wins it will be protested, if Nobama wins he'll be tested. I'm just glad God's in control, not B.O., the real messiah.
