Today i went to turn right and all of a sudden the ticking sound started going ticktickticktick and the little light was flashing frantically. Normally it goes tick - - - tick - - - tick. It struck me as of the tripling of speed in the sound and flashing. Any ideas what is wrong? or why it would start doing this?

Hubby said it could be any bulb on the right side. Also make sure that your friend does not put a heavy duty bulb in, if the others are not. That would cause the same phenomenon.

The cause for this is something ruining the connection. This means the bulb in the front went out, the bulb in the rear went out, or the wiring is funky. Pray for bulb, because it's not fun playing with wiring. At home, turn the car on, turn on your right turn signal, and go look to see which one isn't on. I'm sure you'll see that either the front or the rear is not (for some reason, the rear usually goes out more often than the front O.o) Sorry to throw this random story in, but... a friend of mine had a car that had a rear windshield wiper that would not turn off (probably not really the case). So, her father decided the solution would be to tie this wiper down. Well, it stopped the wiper from physically moving but in turn shorted out the wiring which then caused it to heat up and burn all the other wires it was in contact with. In this case, it was the wiring for all of the rear lighting on the car. My dad and I had a hell of a time figuring out what was going on. After throwing the car up on a lift, we noticed a bunch of melted plastic around the wires. Dangerous stuff. I'm sure this story isn't related to your problem in anyway, I'm 100% positive you have a burnt out bulb, but the moral of this story is don't try to fix cars at home if you have no idea what you're doing.

Thanks for the reply. I had it fixed at a garage back in October and it was a burnt out bulb. The melted wiring is scary...I'd have been worried tying it down would burn out the motor!
