I can't see the responses to my discussion...

This is really strange... I was away on vacation for a while and I've got zillions of posts to respond to. But, I have one person that it says has posted to my discussions, but it's not there... I guess it's a violation of the TOS or something? Would that be why it says they responded but there's nothing there? I've never seen this happen before. It's only this one person (so far) and it looks like their account is still active. Does this happen to others?

Well, it is rare but it can happen - that post might have been deleted before you managed to view it.

Actually, once I got to the e-mail notification that had the message in it, I realized what happened. All the responses were "hhmmm..." so I went back and looked at their other responses. That's all this person has ever typed here - to anything. Good thing someone got them and deleted them, I would have reported it.

Yup, all my discussions and also every one this person responded too from the profile. Too much!

That person must have violated mylot rules. Mylot doesn't immediately ban that person for posting illegal content. It will first delete the posts and give warnings. Only if we repeat it, Mylot will delete the account.

I found out this this person only replies with "hhmmm..." to all and any posts. I'm sure that's why they were deleted from my discussions. Hopefully this person will be banned soon if it hasn't happened already. That's just stupid.

myLot only suspends account... not delete. When someone's account is suspended, you will not know it. His profile page will be there. Posts will be intact. And if he is on the ratings page, he will be there too - in fact, many users on the first page of ratings are suspended.

Okay, let's see if I understand. You have an e mail response that says John Doe responded to your discussion on the such and such date, but you do not see that response. In that case, John Doe probably posted something against the TOS, whatever he responded. It did not cause your discussion to be deleted, only his response, so obviously, he was in the wrong. I have seen them disappear from my discussion before, after I had gotten to read them, because I was not on vacation. I think this is probably what happened to you.
