Virtually unknown in the political arena, Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska is McCain's choice for his running mate. A mother of five children, she has been governor of Alaska for less than a year.
What do you think? Will she be an asset or a liability for him?

As mentioned above, she is the current Governor of Alaska. She is a married, mother of five - the youngest born this past April with Downs Syndrome. I haven't heard much yet about her politics other than she is very much against corruption in government.

yes, i was pertaining with regard her political history. with biden, at least i know a few facts about him.
but with palin, it is as if she just popped out of the blue. right now, i'm watching CNN. and right now, i think she is actually the opposite of biden. if put head to head with biden on a debate how can she go head on when it comes to foreign relations?

I'm sure we'll be hearing more in the days to come - it's too early to make any judgments.

I believe that she has a very positive attitude and is assertive enough to stand up against any who might come out attempting to attack or pull her down.

I like what I hear about her, but I do not often follow the general trend. Others may hold it against him because she is conservative, young, an has limited experience. Of course according to the news this is the year for the Republican party to pull the twenty year shocker and surprisingly win with an unlikely vp choice.

I think it is a good move for him. She is young, and although somewhat inexperienced, she does have some government and political experience. She is a wife, a mother, and a working woman - the same as many of America's women.
