I guess there are certain areas of the world where marraiges are arranged by parents and in this case there might be no problem w/ that because that is one of their cultural practices. However, I guess it's no longer common for today's modern time for such kind of marital arrangements. People nowadays are having more freedom to choose their life partners. If it's the case (marital arrangement) I would definitely defy them. It's my life, my destiny and my future and I don't want somebody to chart it for me. I would marry the one whom I love.

I'd run like stink. No one tells me what to do or who to marry. It's my life. I have to live with that arranged husband. They don't.
