Being British, or more specifically English, I enjoy warm bitter beer. Not the pressurised, chilled lagers that most bars and pubs in the World serve, but good thick, hoppy tasting bitter beer, Served at cellar temperature not ice cold. The UK is experiencing a resurgence of micro breweries and I started to wonder. What's your favourite beer, or your S/O's if you don't drink it. Is it a mainstream beer or something with a quirky name like Mr Chubb's. He really did exist and I buy this beer from his daughter in law who brews it along with several others. He was a lock keeper on the River Thames.

P1ke..I don't drink but just reading how you describe this made me hear your voice and it was like you were next to me talking..Liked that!..This Mr. Chubbs was he a chubby man or was this his last name? I always appreciate giving my money to someone other than a Company I don't personally know, and this DIL of his sounds like she's trying to maintain that Family atmosphere.. huggles and Kitty kisses

I ran a pub for 11 years and we won several awards for our real ale, it always amazed us that we could serve such a great pint as never hubby or I liked the stuff. Did you know that the best real ale is all the slops mixed together and called mild, todays fascinating fact for you LOL
