Anyone currently watching Project Runway Season 5?

This may be a post with few responses, but I haven't seen any discussions about this season of Project Runway, so I thought I'd give it a go. I think my favorites are Kenley, Joe, and Korto. I really can't stand Blayne, but maybe that is because everything to him is 'licious.' I didn't think Kelli should have gone home when she was eliminated, I thought Blayne should have gone. I mean, did anyone think Brooke Shields would wear capri pants for work in an episode on her show Liptstick Jungle? I haven't seen the show, but I know her character works in a corporate world! I was also glad Keith was gone because he got on to that poor model. They made her sit down to do her makeup, she couldn't just stand the whole time like he asked her to.
Last week's challenge was making an outfit of recycled auto parts. Leanne did a great job and I'm glad she won. I like Korto for a lot of reasons, but I admire all she does having had to flee with her family from Liberia when she was a teen. No wonder she appreciates America so much. And Stella.... What can I say about her? She cracks me up. Anyone with a guy named Ratbones has to be a hoot!
I think the final three will be Terri, Korto, and Kenley. But I'm often wrong. So talk to me. Which is your favorite designer, least favorite, and which challenge has been your favorite? I thought the drag queen challenge was a hoot.

I love Project Runway... but season 5 is not yet being aired in my country... but we have now Project Runway Philippines... and i really like that too... i was able to watch the Runway Show of the drag queen challenge... and like you... i think it was hilarious... i love the outfits they were able to create... and i definitely agree with the one who was booted out...

hey, i'm from the Philippines as well, but i make sure that i get to watch Project Runway Season 5 and all the other series in US right after they're aired in the US :) there are sites where you can download the videos... i'm just new here so i don't really know if i'm allowed to name the site...PM me for details
for Proj. Runway Philippines, i'm quite disappointed with it because they're not that competitive compared to the level of competition being shown in Project Runway (US)... probably because this is the 1st season of Project Runway Philippines... i just hope that the next batch of designers in Manila will be more competitive :) and i do hope that their prizes will get even bigger in the next season ;)

Korto is an amazing talent and her life was very hard. If she wins, then I will be happy with this season. Kenley and Joe have done well. I enjoyed the Brooke Shields episode, as watch Lipstick Jungle and I could see her in the capri pants. Brooke could pull it off with ease.

I was just shocked the capri pants were for a work look, from day wear to club wear. She'd look fantastic in it, but I thought it was a shame for Kelli to go home. She had never been in the bottom two. I didn't mind Daniel going home. For all his talent, he was a bit of a snob. He acted like some of the challenges were beneath him, like the Olympic challenge. Which challenge has been your favorite so far?

The Brooke Shields one, as she is going to wear the winning outfit. I am looking forward to seeing it.

Nope sorry haven't watched it. Well not this time but I have watched a few shows of it the last time. SOunds as though I have been missing the best ones ever..I would have loved to have seen that stuff out of recycled auto parts adn the drag queen challenge..I have watched Lipstick Jungle once..It was a okay show. I don't know who will win but I guess I will be checking it out to see what is next..

I love Project Runway! I agree with you about the capri's, I thought they were just down right ridiculous. Blayne is a nut job and in my opinion has zero talent. I really don't understand why he's even on the show. Ratings I suppose.
I really like Leanne and Korto. I hope one of them wins based on both personality and talent. Korto has the edge concerning talent I think. Kenley scares me, I think she may be just as crazy as Blayne! eeekk... I missed the last few episodes but I think Kenley is gone now. Do you know? I hope so, she is just mean and self obcessed. ack

i love project runway! before my favorite was kenley, most of her designs were nice, she's pretty, i love her nostalgic look. but the past few episodes she has become a real bi***. I like leanne, her designs are nice too and she seems down to earth. but for the winner, i'm rooting for korto.
i loved that drag queen challenge!

I like Korto personally as well. Thinking about how she had to flee Liberia as a teen with her family, then adjust to life in the United States. I wonder how she wound up in Arkansas though. I read a book about former Liberians who ended up living in Virginia, Illinois, but I guess they thought it would be a good place... Arkansas is my neighboring state, but its hard to imagine them picking Arkansas, or my own state, Oklahoma to settle down.

I am watching. I hate Kenley. She's such a b- word. Today she talked about beating the other designers into the ground. I appreciate her upbringing and the results of what it might be, but does she always feel the need to be mean? That's bad Karma. My favorite designer was Stella. Now, I'm routing for Lee Ann. My favorite challenge was the car one.

i didn't see this discussion that's why i created one earlier... just saw this after i started the discussion...
anyway, good to know that there are others who's also up to date w/ Proj Runway Season 5 :) i want Jerell, Leanne and Korto to go to NY Fashion Week... and i want either Jerell and Korto to win :)
Kenley is a talented girl...but i don't like her attitude for the past few weeks :( sorry...
for the challenge, i also like the episode for the recycled auto parts :) it showed how innovative the designers are :)
