Even though I am Diabetic, and not feeling the best due to having a Sore throat and a small touch of a Cold, I decided to splurge tonight, and go have my husband get us a Milkshake. Since I have a Paypal debit card, I decided to use it for a change and have him use that. So thanks myLot for allowing me to do this, and Thanks my friends for supporting me while I am here. Have you spent everything you have earned from myLot, or are you saving it up? This is the first time I have touched my July earnings, and so what is left from my June and July earnings in there, will just continue to be added to my August earnings when it is deposted in September. See, for anyone who is skeptical, there are many Good reasons to be active here in myLot. Wishing you all the Best. ~~TINA~~

Oh good for you.. I have never used my earnings here in mylot since I joined. I started here in mylot Last May and I reach payout every month. I just save my earnings in my paypal account. I might withdraw that on December it would be a great Christmas gift to me from mylot... Seriously, I just saved it for emergency. It;s good that we have little savings for rainy days.

I am considering saving the rest of the $$ that I have in my myLot account for either Emergencies or Christmas as well. Maybe I will try and save it up so I can buy something nice for my husband as a Surprize. Wouldn't that be nice, and Thanks for the idea.

MyLot earnings allow for all kinds of things. I have a paypal debit card, but I don't really use it. I just transfer the money to my bank account, and use it there. I spend the majority of my earnings at the coffee shop. It's nice to have that little treat, now and then. Thank you MyLot from me too, for making that possible.

Wow that is awesome that you can now use some of your mylot earnings. i wish I could have one of those paypal debit card like your do. I think that would be handy and no more fuss in transferring them from you paypal to your bank account. I wonder if i could make good use of that one in my country if ever.

My earnings from myLot never stay in my PayPal account very long. I too have a PayPal debit card. I love it. I get money from various things in my PayPal account, so I am always using it for something.

Well, I haven't reached my first payout yet, but I'm cents away form reaching it. It's good to hear that you seem to be enjoying your life even if you are diabetic. Sometimes I think it is not good to always deprived ourselves of the little things that we want to have in life. I would probably just pay my debts on my credit card first when I get my payout because I just went shopping and I got myself 2 pair of mobile phones. HIhi =o)

I will be using my earningsto help pay on my ebay fees. If I didn't owe ebay I would then just have the money put into my checking account. That is nice that you got to get a sweet treat with your money. milk shakes are always good.

I usually just let it accumulate, then when I want to upgrade at a site, and then buy some referrals, I hve the money in Pay Pal to do so. I have in the past invested little bits, and been paid by them. I have used it to pay a pressing bill. By letting it sit in my Pay Pal Money Market account, I draw a little bit of interest, as well. I should get the debit card, also, to allow for those little splurges. I find it easier to have it add up by leaving it in Pay Pal. I think we old timers have to just keep on reminding people that MyLot pays, and it is worth while.

Hi.. I have used my earnings to buy credits so I can get books online with a site that I belong to...Don't think I can mention the name here....but that is what I did with mine...I haven't made that much from here but it was enough to do what I needed to do...

Nice little treat for you then! I still have three months of untouched earnings in my pay pal account. I just could not be bothered transferring it over, plus I have to pay a fee on amounts under a certain amount so I thought I would just leave it to build up in there. I want a pair of jeans though off ebay so I may just leave it there and pay for the jeans with it.

Normally whenever I got extra money into my PayPal account from selling something or from eBay, I would let it build up there and use that for special things that I would not otherwise buy. Unfortunately right now my fixed income is even more fixed and I'm using my PayPal debit card to help with groceries. I hope soon to let it build up again so I can enjoy a treat every so often.

I have just joined to MyLot. I wonder what the feeling would be when I would hit the payout mark. Because, If I can touch payout target this will be my first ever online income and which is likely to be encashed. I will think what I shall do with MyLot earning once I get the money in my hand. Waiting for that big day!

Do you mind my asking how much you actually make? Is it like $10.00 a month. Thats what i have read from some of the other threads. Do you find that you have to post a lot of post to make the money. Or is it other people also joining the site as well. Im thinking you have to do both really. I also read that it is quality not quanity. That you have to really be involved in the site and answer questions but not just with one line answers. Would you agree?

I don't have paypal card but from my paypal account I pay ebay when buying and selling there. Since it's not easy to reach payout I tend to be careful what i use the money for. I haven't been active March to July so even if I did reach payout now I won't be spending it yet.

Tina, I hope you are feeling better. I'm not good at saving money. Once I receive my mylot earnings I spend it the same day. Yep, that is a good reason to be active on here.

Hello Krause, that is awesome that you are able to spend some of your earnings. I think that's really cool to be able to use mylot earnings for a good use. Money is supposed to be earned but also to be spent as well. And I'm glad that you are feeling happy. Continue to be yeah and have a good day ahead of you.

I haven't spent a penny, yet. I've been saving it up for something special. I don't know what that 'special' thing is yet, but I'll know it when I see it. It might be Christmas shopping or it might be something for myself. I don't know. I've thought about getting a Paypal debit card but, if I do, I'm sure I'll use it for little things like you just mentioned. But, even spending it that way will be nice, since earning it is such a pleasure! To me, myLot earnings are like 'found money'. I don't think of myLot as a place to earn money. That takes a back seat to all of the other rewards I get from being here like friendship, caring, sharing, learning, etc. I think that's why I've been able to 'forget' about my earnings and allow them to continue piling up in my Paypal account. But, isn't it nice to have it for those special things like milkshakes?

I am very happy that you got to enjoy a nice cold milk-shake! I bet it felt good with that sore throat! Nice of your hubby to go get them too! I am also so thankful for MYLot. I do not make a ton of money but I enjoy making it. I have meet so many very nice people. I have learned so much already. That is a huge blessing in its-self. I do not have a PayPal debit card. I might have ot look into that in the future! I hope that your feeling better very soon!
