Hi all mylotters.. I was thinking about the blood group.. of many people out in this world, my blood group is O+, and i can give blood to all people but only can receive from have O+ and O-. starnge.. so what is your blood group?? Certain personality traits that seem to match up with certain blood types. How do you rate? share with us.. TYPE O : You want to be a leader, and when you see something you want, you keep striving until you achieve your goal. You are a trend-setter, loyal, passionate, and self-confident. Your weaknesses include vanity and jealously and a tendency to be too competitiveTYPE A : You like harmony, peace and organization. You work well with others, and are sensitive, patient and affectionate. Among your weaknesses are stubbornness and an inability to relax. TYPE B : You're a rugged individualist, who's str aightforwa rd and likes to do things your own way. Creative and flexible, you adapt easily to any situation. But your insistence on being independent can sometimes go too far and become a weakness. TYPE AB : Cool and controlled, you're generally well liked and always put people at ease. You're a natural entertainer who's tactful and fair. But you're standoffish, blunt, and have difficulty making decisions. Share how do you rate the above and your blood group.

I wonder how we would describe this: My sister was type O+, and I am AB+. I was the donor for her bone marrow transplant in 1987...and she is now AB. Hmmmm...maybe she is just confused :) But seriously, I do have some of the AB traits, but because AB has elements of all the types (and I can take any of the blood types), I have some of each. I really do wonder if it has been studied for people who have had a change in their blood type, although I am sure that there aren't too many who have had a change in blood type.

It is true. They basically killed off her immune system and gave her mine. She was type O, and she is definitely type AB now. Apparently the type is somehow determined my the bone marrow. I have to say that she has traits of both...

This question has been asked many times here on myLot and also in real time, but I do not know what my blood type is officially, as I do not involve myself with western medicine and have no intention of having blood tested to to see what my personality traits are supposed to be. If there is truth in it though, then based on my personality types I would have to be AB, but I eat like an O. Can you explain the plus and minus, please?

HI drannhh, If you dont know the blood group then you might have not fall ill till now. that very good.. because when i was in collage till that time i didnt knew the blood group.. .. came to know when few blood test wear needed. I will try to explain about the positive + and negative - , in blood group there's another antigen to be considered - the Rh antigen. Some of us have it, some of us don't. If it is present, the blood is RhD positive, if not it's RhD negative. So, for example, some people in group A will have it, and will therefore be classed as A+ (or A positive). While the ones that don't, are A- (or, wait for it...A negative). .. :) enjoy
