I can speak four languages Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilonggo and English. The first three are Filipino languages. Our family belongs to Tagalog tribe so it's my native tongue. I learned Cebuano and Ilonggo when our family lived in Visayas areas while I learned English in school. Good evening Beaver!

I speak English and Filipino fluently. Filipino, being my mother tongue, and English being our secondary language. I also took up Spanish for 10 years where I studied. Studying Spanish was quite easy because some words were near Filipino words and it was quite easy to understand how to conjugate verbs and all. It was hard to converse though. And now that I have not had anyone to talk to, I have forgotten most of my lessons. It would be nice to re learn them again. I also want to learn Chinese and Italian.

Hi
In fact, I can speak four languages. Besides English, which is an international language, the other three languages that i speak are Indian languages - Konkani and Marathi, which are my native languages and Hindi, which is the national language. Now I want to learn Sanskrit and French.

I speak 2 different languages from birth and have tried learning other languages in school. And it was hard to learn the different languages in school, but I think thank to knowing another language from birth, I have the flexibility to understand that some words can't be literally translated and that some meanings can have a deeper meaning then another language.
