I can't Stand my neighboors!

We have one neighborhood kid who always comes over to play with our youngest. He never knocks on the door, he just stands there and the little window and looks in. Where are the manners these days. Do parents not teach their children to KNOCK!!

Well,as for me of course it is my next door neighbour but the thing that I cannot stand is their "pets"..they have ducklings.Day time is ok but during night time,I cannot sleep at all.They make so much quacking noises.I don't hate them but now am getting angry with them whenever I see them.

OMG!! i use to have a neighbor who use to beat his girlfriend, play loud music, have video game parties at 1 in the morning, and let his dog out of the apartment and it would come and pee in front of my door!! i tell you it was five years of hell living next door to them. the really sad thing was they were young. i mean like he was maybe 20 and she was all of maybe 16. they would go at it all the time. i would have to call the cops so they would not kill each other. and all of that drama going on and they had a little boy. they finally broke up and he got himself a job so no more noise coming from over there any more!!!

I am sorry to hear that. Fortunately my neighbors are OK. I am not so familiar with them and I will just say hi and bye and that's all. I love China

I have really nice neighbours where I live now. I hardly see them, but when I do they are always really pleasant and one side often sends things over for the kids. Plus they are always there if we need them, not that we ever have but they have offered their services should we need them. We are really lucky because the place we used to live before was horrible and the neighbours were really rough and nosey!

Hello marciascott Actually I have not had anyone livin next door to me since March and it has been nice and quiet up until today, funnily enough. Someone is moving in now and they have spent all day cutting the grass with a very loud petrol strimmer. When that all finished I was so relieved but then the banging and sawing started. They are annoying me already and they haven't actually moved in yet!!!!!

Shoot em, that will teach them to be nosey. I have good neighbors, some of them are nosey too but they don't get in your business. I just responded to another post, I am doing good. My sons two older boys are the ones who moved. him, his wife and two younger ones are still here. Lizzy is getting big, 7 months old now. Take Care Marcie.

i do get along well with my neighbours to some extent but their gossipyping part is something which i abhor.

Hi Marcia! I live out in the country so I don't have too many close neighbors. I don't really get involved with them. We will say hi in passing but thats about it. One of my neighbors is my boyfriend's aunt. She can be a pest sometimes but thats what family is supposed to do. LOL

Oh Yeah! We have one of those that can do nothing but stir up trouble. Any time anyones dog in the neighborhood barks he calls animal control and complains that it is our dogs and then we get a visit from them. We are now on first name basis with the animal control personnel because they have been out here so often. And considering our dogs are pretty much indoor dogs he has no right to complain. Then there is the lady across the street. She can not just say hello and leave it at that. Once she starts you can expect to be there for an hour. And even though I say I need to leave she just keeps talking.

I know I've got neighbors by the fact there's two doors on my step and the occasional clomp outside my front door. Other than that, nope, no clues! * We did however, did get a visitor from next door that had four feet. Their cat mistook our apartment for his own and waltzed right in as if he owned the joint. He was an enormous, fifteen to 20 pound tabby that managed to slip out for an adventure.

Hi honey, Thankfully my neighbors are seldom noisy. They are all well-behaved in that no one talks to one another. We don't even say hit. Just slam the door on one another where applicable. That's all lol.

I am sorry for your situation. There are going to be people like you are describing pretty much anywhere you go. Unfortunately they are near you. I am not having a problem with my neighborhood right now. Of course I keep my distance sometimes. Not to say that I don't like to make friends or introduce myself but I am trying to stay away from idle gossip because sometimes neighborhoods can get that way. But so far so good.
