Driving Me Crazy

Do it bother anybody else when someone on mylot starts a discussion about a new work at home site or earn money online and the only information they give is PM me and I will tell you more. Then when I ask for more information they just say PM me and I will tell you. What is up with the PM thing. I think the only time a PM is necessary is if you are sharing personal information like an e-mail address or phone number. I am not asking for a link, just a name and what the site is about. Am I wrong? What drives me even more crazy is when you PM them and then send you a link to a site and nothing more. There was one guy that sent me a link and I could not figure out what the site was about from the page so I e-mailed him, can you tell me more before I join and he just sent back, join then we can talk. No give me more information before I join. Am I alone here?

Yes, those are spammers!I get tons and when I yell at them they rate me "-" . I don't care how they rate me. I'll still say what I think. Ignore them as much as possible.

OH yes, I am sure that my star rating is going down after this one. But I am the kind of person that speaks her mind. People always know where they stand with me and I think that is a good trait, life to too short to hide behind false words.

i read lots of that response and to be honest, i am one of them... i just don't want to violate the rules here by posting the link... but if anybody really PM me and ask me for the links, i will definitely give it to them and explain how the site works to them... take care and have a nice day...

LOL. That's a sad story. Everyone here tries to earn some money here. OK it is not the case. They are keeping something in their hands because there are some people who don't want to use others referrals. May be it hurts to use others as a referral. I see nothing wrong in it. It is just you are a victim of this system. They are doing this simply because if you don't join using their referral link then their suggestions would not be a waste i think.

I don't care I will join under their referral link if I feel it is a real site, but to just deny me any information, just frustrates me and I don't see the point.

Not everybody. Some of us have such good news about a site that we want to share. True that is promoting in a way, but we don't ask for PM's or give our links. A lot of us have the banners in our profiles and our friends know where to look without PM. Some even have blogs that go into detail as much as they can about their sites, and the blog link is in their profile. That is the way you promote your program in a community forum such as myLot. I'm with all of you the spammers drive me crazy.

LOL, yes I will add you to my friends so I can PM you. LOL I promote my blog on mylot, but only when it is relevant to a discussion. beaddoodler is right, it is part of internet marketing and I understand that, but the consant conversation that are just: "I found a great new program that will allow you to make losts of money, just PM me and I will tell you about." Drives me nuts!

That annoys me so much, the PM thing. Just like when I saw a video on how to make active referals, it also says e-mail me or PM me. I know there point now, they want us to do some favor before they actually tell us what to do.

Why not say that. If you do me a favor I will tell you how too ..... or give you .... Just be up front and honest and tell me what is going on before telling me to enter my personal information into a web site that I know nothing about.

The reason for this is to actually put a link to the new site in the discussion would be to violate the Mylot terms of services, so the only way for the person to get the news out about the site without violating anything is to mention its existance, and only give links out personally. It drives me nuts too, but I understand why they do it.

I don't know how it feels since I haven't tried it yet, I am sure you are annoyed by that kind of thing. It must really be annoying especially if you are interested and the person doesn't seem to care about your interest.. =(

The whole point of getting referrals is to tell the person as much as you can and get them to sign up, not leave it a mystery and then surprise them if they jump in with you.

No you are absolutely NOT alone! MyLot is for discussions and a dicussion it should be. If some says 'PM me for info' and that's all I report. That is abusing the MyLot site! I guessed that many new users were being scammed as you suggest happened to yourself. Those cheaters get people to join and they EARN up to $10 for every ref they get - you are left with the crumbs abd no explanations! That is scamming and I am out to get them all! I do not and will never add anyone who ask for a pm. They either give the info here or I consider them scammers. What have they to hide? Well said!

I too have blogs but just to keep track of the sites I join. When (if) I ever have time then I will do a 'proper' blog

I hate that. they just tell you to register so that they can benefit from you. they get money when someone registers as their referral, then after that you are left hanging in air not knowing what to do next.

The best way to deal with people like this is: 1) Ignore them 2) Let them know that you ignored them. 3) Make them answer your question before you decide to do anything 4) Let them know that THEY HAVE to ANSWER your question, before you even consider what he wants you to do :D. There's alot more to this, but it's more personal and dependant on the situation and the relationship. Though it is really tough to determine what's going on, as somethings are better left unsaid :P.
