I am only asking this because Palin's name is stated. What does Obama's racist church think of homosexuals? I am certain that if they are racists then they are also against homosexuality. However it is sad that people can not live their life as they choose.

You sound surprised! As ignorant as that way of thinking is, at least they aren't beating the crap out of people, brainwashing anyone but themselves or burning anybody's houses to the ground. The conversion camps on the other hand are very dangerous, nothing short of brainwashing and torture in my book. Those people need to be stopped and fast. The horrors people do to their fellow human beings in the name of religion is nothing short of barbaric. It's been going on for tens of thousands of years. I don't expect it will end any time soon unfortunately. What amazes me more than anything is that so much of the majority of the human race are like dogs. They have this need to be led, told what to say, shown what to do, told what to believe and they just do it, no questions asked. They choose to be psychologically blind. Then they pat each other on the head and say "good Christian" or insert the organized religion of your choice. Anyway they happily wag their proverbial tails and feel like they are part of the pack. But challenge their beliefs and they decend like a pack of feral hounds on the hunt and delight in tearing you limb from limb. We, as a species, think we have come a long way and site our technological advances as proof that we are smarter than other animals. Personally I observe human nature every day and we are NOT as smart as we think we are. In many ways we still have the primitive pack mentality. One of my favorite quotes is by Blaise Pascal: Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction. Pascal lived from 1623-1662, hmmmm almost 400 yrs and nothing has changed. There are those of us who have broken from the pack mentality and can think for ourselves however. When independent thinking becomes the majority, that's when humankind and the world will change for the better. I guarantee that it won't be in our lifetime though. Very sad.

My friends and i say we should be able to kick these clowns off the ticket and let us choose who we want to run..we never had a choice..voting between these two isn't a choice..so How about NONE OF THE ABOVE..if more people vote that way then MAYBE the voters might get a chance to be heard and all this talk of trying to change anyone will stop..and if i pray it will be for people to accept everyone as they are..

That is so incredibly pathetic and sad When I was a child I wondered why gay people had to hide the fact that they were gay. As I grew up I understood and felt badly about that. You would think that we, as a people, should be well past such ignorance.

Not only that, but what they are doing defies what they stand for. They are the most UN-CHRISTIAN organizations out there!! Christianity does not preach judgement. Christianity preaches that we love our neighbours, not judge and confemn them. I don't know what is in the mids of people like this, or even if they have minds.

Unfortunately we're not past this. I can't figure out why we're not past this sort of thing because it's extremely silly and really WILL NOT accomplish anything. Just grow up and realize that there are people in the world that are different than you and that you cannot change it. I mean, are they going to start praying now to turn Black people into White people? Is that how it works?
