Stand-up for Cancer!

Did you see that last night on T.V.? I thought the show was good, they gave a Benefit for Cancer. I hope a lot of people had donated. I really hope they find a cure for Cancer, Cancer is taking people out of here. I know many families have lost love ones from cancer. When I looked at the show It made me think about my Father and a Best friend that died from Cancer. I know this isn't a good suject, but I want to hear your veiws about cancer, Did it take a toll on anyone in your Family? That have got to find a cure for Cancer. They were telling everyone somethings you can do to prevent Cancer. I thought the show was quite interesting. If it make you sad to talk about it. but for the people that are Surviors I would like to hear you story? Ok, Have a good day!

my mother had cancer and luckily it was detected early and now she is fine.but i know of several other lovely dear ones that have succumbed to cancer.i think cancer can be prevented by taking precautions and going for pre-detection tests once one is over 40.

Yes, It can be prevented if caught at early stages. I thought i had it once. I took a mamogram because they seen a Mass they did a biospy and it was fine. that was 8 or 9 yrs ago.

My Mother had cancer backin 1974 and they got it all. She is 83 year old today and was lucy for it not to come back. She had a tumor removed from her hand last October and many, many skin cancers removed. She has a lot of faith.

i did watch it & thought it was very good. didn't realize that many celebrities had cancer. it's a terrible thing. wish they could find a cure for it but i personally don't ever think they will, hope i'm wrong.

I think they will find a cure someday, and I think it may be soon.

I didn't watch the show, I also hope they find a cure. Its a horrible disease, I have known lots of people who have had cancer. Some have survived and some have not. Its just so sad. I believe that our society, the way we live, the things we are exposed to, is the cause of lots of the cancers. If you walk by a bus or a truck, the fumes are enough to make you sick. We are exposed to so many pollutents and chemicals, we are all at risk. You can life as healthy as you can an still be at risk of getting cancer.
