I have done that once as the movie I was watching was way disgusting, I was happy to get out of the theatre.Have anyone done like that before,if so which movie was that.I really felt bad for wasting my money for watching that worthless movie.Thats why I feel its best to watch the movie after going through its rating. If you rush to watch it on the first day,you may have to get out of the hall in the middle of the movie itself.Give your experience.

Actually yes I have walked out on a movie before. When I was a child my parents were very protective over what my sister and I saw in movies and on TV. We rarely went to the theater, and when we did it was always a G movies or PG movie. When I was ten my parents took me to see a PG movie, and it seemed like a harmless one. But then the cursing started, and one inappropriate gesture later and my parents stood up and walked out with my sister and I in tow. I respect them for that.

I did, just because it was super boring and felt I was wasting my time. Strangely, this was a highly acclaimed movie that was rated very well. It was "Catch me if you can." I think it even won a few rewards. But I could not stay during the entire thing! Waste of my money. Usually I will stay no matter what because I paid so much for the movie anyways.

Hmmm I haven't done that but there are a lot movies that disgusted me before. What I usually do is I just sleep until it finishes or I just continue watching it so that at least I know what to tell everybody when they asked me what happened.

Nope. But I wish I had. Hehe. You know. I felt the same when I was watching "Subramaniyapuram". I just felt like coming out. But unfortunately couldn't do that. Hehe. Because my brother liked the movie. And he was watching. Hehe. And for many other movies also I have felt that. I will feel like that if the film is full of fights. I just hate films like that.

Hi divinchris, Sure I have. But only once that I recall... movie tickets are expensive these days so no playing "tantrums" anymore lol. Once, long ago, I went for a movie that is supposed to be about martial arts. I was anticipating actions and a nice plot... but in the end, I was appalled that it was actually a documentary show. I honestly can't believe a documentary was shown in the cinemas. But oh well, that was many years back. I walked out of that movie half way and so did many people - and there was just a small handful to start with.

I normally don't do that. That is because I, normally, go to any movie, only after doing some research about it. However, sometimes we are forced to do the same as you have done. As far as I remember, I did this once for some rally bad movie. It is very old incident and I am not able to recall the name of movie.

Apparently I did though I don't recall. When I was a young child my parents took me to see "Song of the South". I hated is so much and complained so bitterly about it, that my parents got up and left with me. I don't remember this at all. I went to see a movie once with a girlfriend that I would have left had I been a lone. It was "Natural Born Killers". I hated that movie. I knew with in 10 minutes that I was not going to like it and I wanted to leave, but the girlfriend seemed to be enjoying it, so I stayed and suffered.

No, I never walked out in the middle of the movie, but yes 2-3 times I did had a nap during movie as I was getting too bored. My husband was with me and he was enjoying the movie, but since I was not liking, I dozed off. After a while my hubby woke me up as he was getting embarassed seeing people around looking at me.

hi there. i usually wait till the review about the movie is out and if i feel it's really good, i go to the movie. even if it's going to be my favorite star's movie i would rather wait for the rating. after all we do wait patiently till the movie gets released. what's it going to take to wait a little longer. i have seen some people who just like to go to the first show of their favorite star's movie. they just don't care how the movie is. happy mylotting.

I really done this many times. The first time was when I was watching a suspense thriller movie, when I see the crap spitting out of the eye a person, I left my sit and went outside as I'm craving to eat my dinner when I see that nasty crap coming out of the eye when he cuts the veins. The other time when I got an urgent call from the office that require immediate attention during the holiday, I ran my way out of the theatre.

I've never walked out but there have been a few where I couldn't wait to leave. I couldn't because I was with other people. So I either zoned out or fell asleep. At the top of the list is As Good As It Gets. We weren't originally going to see it but all the other movies we wanted to see were sold out or had already started. I wish we had just left instead. I know a lot of people love that movie and it won Oscars but I absolutely hated it. There were a couple of funny bits but for the most part, it was boring and dragged on. The seats are the kind where you can lift the armrests out of the way, so I pushed those back and laid down a bit to get comfortable. The purpose was to take a nap but unfortunately I couldn't fall asleep.

Thanks Reesers!Nice commments.Sometimes that happen my mistake, that we would be forced to see some other movies. That may have some tragic end s like that too.Cheers to all.happy mylotting

I did only once and never will I do it again. It was during the movie "Phantom Of The Opera". My husband and I went to watch the movie with a bunch of youths. But halfway we walked out and some of the youths followed us. In my opinion its a bad movie, the songs the storyline. But nowadays we hardly go to movie anymore anyway because the price of one ticket has gone up. So we just settke with television and dvds.

Thanks eagle_f15!Its true that the tickets have gone up,but watching movies in theatre can not be compared with those seen in television and dvds.Cheers to you.happy mylotting.

Back when I was a teen, my best friend and I went every week to what we called the "cheapie movies". A local theater had 2nd run movies for $1. Sometimes it was a movie that was successful but was ending at the regular theaters and sometimes they were the short-lived kinds of movies. Some were "hits" and some were "misses". We always stayed for the whole movie except one time. It was a British horror flick which I cannot remember the title of. It was WAY too gross for me. Hey, for a dollar, who cares? I was fun sitting through even the bad movies because the best part of these excursions was sitting and having pop afterwards and dissecting the films. Or in the case of a really bad one, tearing it apart!

Yes. I did this once because the movie was basically making fun of people with apparently low intelligence and socail skill. Since I work with developmentally disabled adults this offended me.

Nice to hear your experience Happyfeats1!A few movies were of that origin, the best way is to watch out for the movie review before stepping in there.
