We have an artificial tree, not sure if we could have a real one with my daughter's allergies to mold.

We have had both real and artificial trees. I like a tree that you don't kill to sit inside a home, let it dry out, and haul it away. With our artificial tree we go out to the shed. Set it up in the house. Fix the branches, decorate, and tah dah!

Real trees are a mess, pine needles everywhere. I live alone and always spend Christmas away with family, so I just get a nice wreath for my apt.

I usually just trim a few small branches off my pine trees and keep them in a vase for the season.

How do you know she would be allergic to a real tree? How does mold equate with a real tree?? I live in a forest and every year we get a permit to cut down our own tree for x-mas. It's a great day for everyone. Though I have to admit I have seen some very nice artificial ones.. Just can't imagine not having a real pine tree...

I am not sure if she will be allergic to a real tree or not, but don't want to take a chance. Thanks for replying. A+

I never get a real one just one i can use year after year. Real ones are to much of a hassle to clean up when christmas is over.

I like real ones but they make a mess so I usually put up a fake one instead.

I love the smell of real christmas trees, it just adds to that whole christmas spirit i think. However right now i dont even have a tree but if i did it would have to be fake...i only see palm trees here there dont seem to be any christmas trees on the beach. As for your daughters allerigies it would prob be best to have a fake tree. Or if you do have a real tree keep it well watered and dont leave it up to long.

I have an artificial tree also. I like these better than live trees. Live trees cause danger for a fire and they also can get messy. I love my fake tree I put it up decorate it, take it down and don't have to worry about a fire or cleaning up all the leaves that fall.

I love real trees but, when my children were growing up my son was allergic to real trees he has asthma. So, I started purchashing artificial trees I like them because, they come with the lights already attached now adays. God Bless

Real ones smell so nice and look really pretty..but they cause a big mess. We've been using an artificial tree for the past few years.
